Place full of cockroaches twice the size of your thumb, shower, closet etc, even woke up by one walking on me in my bed one night. I stopped counting how many I killed after 10.

I was a tenant last year. The on-site managers were amazing. They responded to my emails quickly and tried to accommodate my needs asap. Also, they tried to make the place very cozy. They decorated the halls and kitchen for each major holiday. The only thing that sucks is that one of them is a Clippers fan.

Jessica and the staff at TG have been wonderful in helping me to sublet two apartments for two coworkers over the summer. They were efficient and fast to respond, even moving things around to make the tenants most comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

On-site managers were really good when I was living there last yr, very easy to reach out to and they always replied quickly. They did a lot for the building and tenets, making the stay there a more positive experience!

It was my first time living in Berkeley so I was scared but the on site staff made it really easy to navigate and set things up! They were super responsive and helped me with any wifi, electrical, and people issues that came during my stay!

Clean, economical and literally 2 blocks from campus. A great opportunity to meet community in a small intimate setting. Caring, efficient and super responsive fellow student on-site blding manager presence and the contracted janitorial company keeps common areas fresh & clean (well at least in my opinion every time I visit). Can’t get a better deal/value in Berkeley for an upgraded and clean space out the door to campus.

I was staying at telegraph commons for 3 months as a sublet this summer. The RA’s were sweet and helpful, bathrooms and common areas were all regularly cleaned and maintained.However the place is at a very noisy intersection and I could literally hear shouts and screams every night from the streets.The common drinking water filter during my stay was broken and the water literally looked contaminated. The refrigerators in room also needs to be better maintained — I had to spend a couple hours (2 times in 3 months) cleaning all the ice that would constantly get stuck inside.Moreover I was fined for not leaving the room “deep cleaned like a professional” despite the fact I had vacuumed the place and that the RA saw the room before I handed her the keys and she didn’t say anything then.Although the location is very close to the university making it very convenient to commute, my experience overall wasn’t very pleasant.

The agent is so impatient and lying all the time. All they would tell you is that there's only one room left and you literally have no choice. The environment is clean but the rooms are quite small.

Would not rent from them. At Telegraph Commons, I was told the "extra large single" was the only unit available, thus I took it. We were not given the option to see the room beforehand. At the time of move-in, I realized I was given the "standard size single" while paying the extra price. They did not budge when I brought up this fact. They will scam you for the money. Later found out my next-door neighbor with the same sized room was paying $400 less than me per month.The property is at a very loud intersection and there were also constant roach problems in the building. If you can, I would highly recommend you avoid renting from here.

The onsite manager quickly responded to my message to provide more info and view the place. Can't beat the location for the price and I am pleased with the friendly and professional staff!
