The Greek Theatre is a historic outdoor amphitheater on the UC Berkeley campus, renowned for its intimate setting and spectacular views of the city and bay. It is a favorite and beautiful venue with old Greek themed architecture. Reviews note it is an ideal location for concerts, though seating is on concrete steps, so bringing a seat cushion is a good idea. The newly terraced lawn and viewing platforms are great improvements. As it is entirely outside, the weather can change quickly, so bringing layers is advised. The venue is beautiful and clean, with helpful staff. They only take credit cards for concessions.
It's a big venue, but it also feels intimate. Great acoustics!

One of my favorite venues - can’t beat the atmosphere

If it wasn't for the traffic and parking... What a drag. Also the in show security staff was a little self important... Like they were curing cancer? The door crew was great. And 25 bucks for a glass of wine? Do they still make boda bags?
