My 2015 Toyota Prius battery died (which was replaced by AAA), but then my charger wouldn't work. I took it to the Service Center in Berkeley where Jason did a light assessment to determine what was going on. The charger worked when he plugged it in, so while we waited to see if it would hold, Jason talked with me about what might have been going on, what other options I might have to replace the charger, and how I might think about my next car (hybrid vs plug-in vs electric). I was in and out within 20 minutes, happy that my charger was working, better informed about the problem, and very pleased with my interaction with Jason.

Me and my family had a positive experience with Lauren Vazquez at Toyota of Berkeley. Lauren provided exceptional service, demonstrating professionalism and attentiveness throughout the process. Her knowledge and commitment to customer satisfaction undoubtedly contribute to the dealership's reputation for excellent service. Will definitely come back next time we are on the market for a new or preowned vehicle.

Never got back to me despite repeated calls. So much for trying to purchase a $60,000 car. This is why car buy will be done completely online over the next few years. No need for unresponsive salespeople.

I lost my car key and they helped me out and programmed a new one in a timely manner with a decent price.I have to do a shout out to my man Kent Muon! He absolutely made the experience enjoyable and fun! He is an excellent professional with a lighthearted spirit! Promote ahead of peers! I'll be back because of Kent! I recently purchased a brand-new Rav4 from TOYOTA of Berkeley just last week, and the entire experience was truly exceptional. From the moment I submitted my online query, they responded promptly but without any pressure. I was warmly welcomed by the Sales Director, Khanh, who generously offered me a reasonable discount. During my visit, the salesperson (whose name I regrettably forgot) took me for a test drive, expertly addressed all my inquiries, and efficiently prepared my new vehicle.Furthermore, I had the pleasure of working with the Finance Manager, Lauren Vazquez. Lauren's professionalism, patience, clear communication, extensive knowledge, and overall politeness greatly impressed me. She meticulously handled all the necessary paperwork and introduced the service packages in a well-organized manner. Lauren even graciously assisted me in adjusting my service package a few days later, which demonstrated her exceptional customer service.My experience with TOYOTA of Berkeley has been overwhelmingly positive, and it's worth noting that I also purchased my Corolla from this dealership a decade ago. With such outstanding service, I eagerly anticipate continuing to do business with them in the years to come.

Big praise to Ms Lauren Vazquez! She was able to solve a huge problem with my vehicles lease end. After I made several attempts at One Toyota of Oakland and was on the verge of sheer panic. Ms Vazquez not only went out of her way to problem solve and take the reins of doing the leg work to get me a great deal and eventually help me own the car outright. She even was able to knock of an additional $50 monthly. She may be an actual angel! She was able to fix all the previous errors, took the time to communicate and resolve the issue. She was prompt, made sure to check in at each step, and was amazing start to finish! She has an amazing team and I can tell they truly benefit from having Ms Vazquez and her tremendous leadership. Toyota corporation, you have a gem on your hands! She is a large reason I'm still driving with Toyota! Thank you again for everything Lauren, my car and I appreciate you!

I went into Berkeley Toyota last week to look at a car that I had previously made an appointment with Lauren to see. Lauren was very nice, she showed me the car and right away, I knew this was the car for me. Lauren was professional and very knowledgeable. She made sure that I got what I was looking for. If you're looking for a great car service experience, I 100% recommend Kent at Toyota of Berkeley!Kent is the best service advisor I've ever worked with. From start to finish, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I'm not the biggest motorhead, so he took the time to explain everything to me in a way that I could understand. Kent also made sure that I was comfortable with the services before proceeding.I was also very impressed with his attention to detail. He went over the service report with me line by line, and he explained what each item meant and why it was necessary. Kent made sure that I understood the cost of each service before I agreed to it.Overall, I felt ecstatic after my car service experience at Toyota of Berkeley knowing I was putting my car in the best hands in the area. If you live in the East Bay, take your Toyota here. I use to take my truck to another dealership that's closer to me but the last time I was there I had an bad experience. Fast forward to last week, I decided to bring my truck to a new Toyota Dealership other than the one use to go and was greeted by a serviced person name Tuyen Ta. (I think that's his name) I expressed to Tuyen about the problem I'm having with my truck and that I just recently had a misdiagnosis at a different location and how they took my money without fixing anything at all. I was upset and irate but Tuyen continued to remain calm and that he'll have one of his highly experienced tech work on my truck. He even offered me a ride back home but instead he ended up giving me a rental...something that the other dealership never did for. The issue with my truck was found and fixed in timely manner. Overall, I'm happy and very pleased by the work that's done by Tuyen and his crew. Very knowledgeable and reliable mechanics here at this dealership. Thanks again Tuyen and Toyota of Berkeley Kokeo. The people that work at Sales dept are shady. They shoved LuxCare (paint wax) and charged me close to $1,000. They never mentioned this to me until I got home and I was carefully reading the contract.Khanh (Sales Manager) was trying to manipulate me by asking me to remove this negative review to cover up for his lie by giving me an cheap extended maintenance plan but the fact that they said that LuxCare is mandatory on all new cars is a flat out lie because on the actual contract LuxCare is all optional.I don't recommend you buy a car from this dealership. Our experience was very unpleasant here. They also would not give me the trunk mat only after I demand it multiple times. It's a brand new car for God's sake.I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. Please try Toyota of Walnut Creek for your next purchase as staff there are much more friendly and much more honest.Toyota of Berkeley has slowly been going down hill. It's not like what it used to be 10 years ago. I think this dealership was sold to a company and is no longer a family owned business as they claim.I will never go back to this dealership.

I got my 25K mileage maintenance with Martin Lee and he was such a great person to work with. I told him I needed my car done before 1pm and he got it done an hour earlier. He informed me about the repairs that got fixed when I picked up my car. I was hesitant to go to this Toyota service location but I am definitely coming back after my first wonderful experience.Services: General repairs & maintenance

I received an SMS from the service that my car is ready to be picked up. I called to the service desk to request a shuttle and was informed the driver was busy and would call me once he was free. However, after waiting for 2 hours with no updates, I called back to get a rough estimate of the waiting time. The representative was unable to reach my manager or the driver and was told that I simply had to wait as this was a complimentary service. It sounded extremely rude.I took uber and picked up my car. My manager said that nobody informed him about my calls and there were no inquiries or messages in the system.The managers and mechanics are top-notch folks there, but after that humbling experience over the phone, I don't see myself coming back to this service again.Services: General repairs & maintenance
