It's pretty... I'll give it that. Was probably beautiful when it was fully functioning.If you're simply sending a package, do not go at opening. Everyone does. So it's a long line and 1, maybe 2 clerks.Why they don't have a self service kiosk just baffles me.Erica is a wonderful sweet patient woman. The rest.... they aren't her.I thankfully haven't gone in for passport services and from these reviews, never will.

Surly staff that has treated me with contempt every time I've gone in. Last package I sent through there had all of its contents stolen. Absolute nightmare of a post office.

This post office is beautiful as are the hearts of the folks who work here. We followed the suggested time for open hours of passport processing on here as it says after 4 pm. We were told kindly yesterday that passport processing ended at 3:30 and given forms to complete at home to quicken the process. Erica was informative and awesome and recommended we return as early as possible next time to ensure we can get help. Today, we did just that! We arrived a little after 9 am. They open at 9. One family was finishing up their application and then we were able to apply for a new passport book for our son as well as submit my renewal. We left by 9:30 am. The hours for passport processing online are misleading. Postal workers are doing their best with reduced staff and pay. People reserve spots and then don’t show up! Yesterday there were 22 appointments and only 10 of those people even went. So there was a lot of time to go and be kind and patient. Try to go early!!

This place is an absolute joke. Tam is the woman responsible for processing passport applications and I have attempted five separate times to do a walk-in for my one and three-year-old. Each time the manager tells me she either just left or left early because she’s sick. The latest I have gotten here for the walk-in has been 436. Today I showed up at 3:55 (walking are 4-5pm) and was told she was already gone. When I asked to speak with the manager the manager told me that was him and pretty much brushed me off saying if I have a complaint, I can file it online . The customer service is outrageous, and completely unacceptable. It’s extremely frustrating that not a single office in the Bay Area offers an appointment after 4 PM. This is the only location that will do walk-ins between four and five and every time she fails at her job. How she is employed is beyond me.

The web site says passport walk-ins from 4pm-5pm certain dates. Appointments not available for months. We went and we paid for an hour parking and waited until the posted 4 pm time and we were turned away with the answer that the website is wrong and they are not taking passport walk-ins at those times and told us to come next day early in the morning and wait if they are able to squeeze us in between appointments. Wasted time and money to get there and wait for nothing. There was also only 3 of us there and the post office was empty, just to be turned away. They don’t care.

If 0 star is an option, I would give 0. The guy working there has horrible attitude when I tried to ask about the pick up authorization form. Extremely rude and doesn’t want to explain anything. I’ve been to so many USPS and this one is by far the worst. Don’t come to this USPS location.

Needed to renew my 3 kids passport and luckily was able to secure one within rock throw of my office. Tam was there to assist us and was very friendly and patient. Highly recommend and kudos to Tam

Please tell your carriers to put first class mail in the SLOT going to the inside of the house, NOT in the box for magazines.Mail theft is a problem that can be avoided if carriers pay attention to what they are doing.
