I made a booking with Sixt as I’d read good reviews on Google although my experience so far is not great! I booked a luxury car 30 days ahead of time and upon checking in for the reservation the night before, I noticed my pickup time had changed from 8am to 12pm and my car category had changed from a luxury to a compact. This occurred without any notification from anyone at the Sixt branch. As this was the night before the branch was closed so I called customer service who confirmed the branch had changed my booking and if I would like to change back to the category and time I had initially booked the price would now change to $737 which was $211 more than id booked and was being held on my card. I was really confused by this and asked the customer service agent does Sixt have dynamic pricing that changes based on demand even if you have already booked and they said yes? Not sure what to believe! Never had this issue when using other car hire companies in the city!
