“Was searching for a reliable mechanic in the area while servicing my BMW at Concord. Came upon Fred who was nearby to Costco / Auto Row on Market Street. He's really thorough and goes through in detail of all the work to be done and is easy to talk to. He gives honest answers and has good discussion on what needs to be done. My car needed brakes / rotors repaired with an oil change and both were completed in the time we discussed before my next appointment. Good guy, reliable service, prompt, and quality work. “Chris, the manager, took time out to help me use the wheel pulley kit to remove the pulley from the PS pump. We couldn't figure it out. Turns out the loaner kit had a stripped thread. It's been about 20 minutes helping me out and we pulled off the pulley. Most managers and people don't give a damn nowadays but he helps us out. That's saved us a ton of time, trips, and money. Fast service here too. The only complaint I have is that they don't have things in stock on the retail shelves, and in stock, and the La Quinta store nearly always does.”

I just got the car back together last week and everything works and looks amazing. It cost a few bucks and took some time but it was so worth it. “I was pleasantly surprised when I drove into Velasquez Auto Body and discussed the repair of my Tesla. I had taken it over to another shop for an estimate, one that does the high end vehicles, but the price seemed too high. Since I was paying for this repair myself, I didn't like the big $$$$$ I was being quoted from the other body shop. I dealt with the owner, Jose and felt he quoted me a very fair price to repair the damage to the Tesla. I knew repairing a Tesla with multiple layers of paint on the car was not going to be cheap. What impressed me is that he worked over the weekend....Saturday and Sunday, (I could tell because our car kept telling us the doors and trunk were being opened and closed). He finished the car three days earlier than he promised us and the job was perfect. I'm only too happy to make this recommendation to a man and company who well deserves the recognition. MB”

“I had to get a brake light bulb for my Volkswagen Jetta and thought I would install it myself without paying a high-priced dealership to do the same. I went to AutoZone for the first time and John G. assisted me in locating the proper light bulb for my car. He then offered to install it for me at no cost, and I happily took him up on his offer since I am not that mechanically inclined. When does anyone ever offer to assist you to do anything these days, right! John G. installed the light bulb which wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. John G. was upbeat, courteous and a pleasure to talk with. The service he provided me was fantastic, and, in my opinion, it was above and beyond what I had expected from an auto parts store. The service provided by John G. made me very comfortable with AutoZone and now I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car needs. I can't recommend John G. and AutoZone enough.”

My only complaint was I was charged $180 just to look at my car but when I shared I thought that was not appropriate they lowered it to $90 wasn’t expecting to have to pay to have them look at my car and not have the fee applied to the service which ended up costing me a bit over $300”

“The gentleman that answered my call was helpful, he explained they had my part but he was busy so it'd be quiet some time before he could go and pull it, I told him no problem. I arrived and realized this was a sort of pick and pull establishment. I spoke with the man who answered my call and told him I could go pull the parts myself if he'd lend me the tools, now here's were most auto repair, parts, or anything that has to do with wrench establishments look at me as a obvious girly girl kinda of woman and kind of chuckle and say they'll do it for me, not know that wrenching on engines is my passion, they just about blatantly dismiss me and any such suggestions, but not here!
