“I was pleasantly surprised when I drove into Velasquez Auto Body and discussed the repair of my Tesla. I had taken it over to another shop for an estimate, one that does the high end vehicles, but the price seemed too high. Since I was paying for this repair myself, I didn't like the big $$$$$ I was being quoted from the other body shop. I dealt with the owner, Jose and felt he quoted me a very fair price to repair the damage to the Tesla. I knew repairing a Tesla with multiple layers of paint on the car was not going to be cheap. What impressed me is that he worked over the weekend....Saturday and Sunday, (I could tell because our car kept telling us the doors and trunk were being opened and closed). He finished the car three days earlier than he promised us and the job was perfect. I'm only too happy to make this recommendation to a man and company who well deserves the recognition. MB”

I just got the car back together last week and everything works and looks amazing. It cost a few bucks and took some time but it was so worth it. “Chris, the manager, took time out to help me use the wheel pulley kit to remove the pulley from the PS pump. We couldn't figure it out. Turns out the loaner kit had a stripped thread. It's been about 20 minutes helping me out and we pulled off the pulley. Most managers and people don't give a damn nowadays but he helps us out. That's saved us a ton of time, trips, and money. Fast service here too. The only complaint I have is that they don't have things in stock on the retail shelves, and in stock, and the La Quinta store nearly always does.”

“Mac's was recommended to me following a recent traffic accident. The insurance adjuster said the damage could be repaired without removing the quarter panel. Mac recommended doing the removal and took it upon himself to set the insurance company straight. He warned me the work would take the better part of a month and he was right. I was out of town when the work was completed and he dropped my car off to my home and even put it in the garage...amazing. The work was done PERFECTLY. And I don't make that statement lightly. “I had to get a brake light bulb for my Volkswagen Jetta and thought I would install it myself without paying a high-priced dealership to do the same. I went to AutoZone for the first time and John G. assisted me in locating the proper light bulb for my car. He then offered to install it for me at no cost, and I happily took him up on his offer since I am not that mechanically inclined. When does anyone ever offer to assist you to do anything these days, right! John G. installed the light bulb which wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. John G. was upbeat, courteous and a pleasure to talk with. The service he provided me was fantastic, and, in my opinion, it was above and beyond what I had expected from an auto parts store. The service provided by John G. made me very comfortable with AutoZone and now I wouldn't go anywhere else for my car needs. I can't recommend John G. and AutoZone enough.”

“I bought a cute but badly battered 1997 Yamaha G16 golf cart. It had deep gouges along both sides and nicks and gouges all round the the bag well area. It had been repainted at some point with spray cans which only accentuated the poor shape it was in. I had sourced several parts for it, some were salvaged due to the age of my cart. Before installing all the new parts I wanted to have it painted. I called Rafael at A Plus Paint and Golf Cart Repair and he responded in a timely manner with a quote. He came and picked up my cart, he communicated with me throughout the process and when he delivered my cart to me it looked like it was fresh off the showroom floor! My husband and I are absolutely thrilled! Rafael did it right! He took the cart apart versus just masking; as the previous painter had obviously done. He expertly sanded the entire body and he filled all of the gouges and nicks with a repair material made of plastic and sanded the body to perfection. Other shops I'd spoken to said they use Bondo which does not work for a plastic body. He primed, painted and pinstriped my cart beyond my expectation! He installed all my new parts and delivered the cart to me! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It's better than new! He's honest and professional - I asked him to go through the cart to see if it needed mechanical repairs and he didn't find anything and was honest about it. Rafael went above and beyond! He stuck to his quote, he communicated with me throughout the process sending pictures and videos of the steps and the materials he was using. I could go on and on but the point is we chose the right guy/company to do a high quality, custom restoration of our cart! He's clearly an artist - the details he added to my cart are just gorgeous. We couldn't be happier. Sincerely grateful.”

“today was my first time needing a resolve to my battery in my truck. I don't live in palm desert but I do visit a few times a year in my RV so I'm disabled with MS and live on a limited income. my battery was done! I had to find a cheaper alternative to resolve my problem. oreily's wanted 230 dollars for a new one, autozone wanted 209.00 and Walmart wanted 189.00 and had none in stock. so I thought why not try a used batter. I searched used batteries in Palm desert and 5 choices came up. I called 2 others and it went to a voicemail the other a disconnected number I ended up calling Continental Battery and spoke to Chris. I explained my issue I explained my limited income and He was professional well spoken and said he had my right size and for 47.99 including tax and my core! I went to his shop. Very impressive store nice and clean. Chris showed me the battery I gave him mine and the guy is a very nice and trustworthy! I paid him and he even carried it out and put it in the bed of my dads truck. Then I was blown away cause he said it had a 90 day warranty. So I'm 57 yrs old and never seen such great ethics about business and doing helpful things that work not add to a issur. He sells mostly new batteries but has a used selection of good stuff. I took it to where I'm staying installed it in 10 min and my truck has a solid powerful starting capability and the volt gauge pedgged at 14 volts in the middle.. starts like a new battery!! I wish all businesses had a Chris attitude cause he solved my issue easily like it should be!! I recommend this business with full confidence!!”

“I drove 2.5 hours to palm desert to try and sell my dad's van and of course the batteries were dead. My tow driver recommended Interstate because one of the batteries is a bit rare. Interstate had both of the batteries and arrived quickly. Installed and running in about 20 minutes! Charge for delivery and install were reasonable. Highly recommended”

They had the best bid by far and were so nice to deal with! My car looks brand new! They even buffed out other scratches and dings!
