Brought in my red babygirl CLK550 for a rear window that wouldn’t go up, and they handled it with absolute precision and care. From the moment I arrived, they treated me (and my car) with genuine respect and professionalism. Mr. Caruso personally explained the issue, broke down the repair process in simple terms, and made sure everything was done the right way — not the quick way.
It’s rare these days to find a mechanic who’s both honest and passionate about what they do, but this shop delivers on every level. My Mercedes was ready faster than expected, and the window works perfectly now. You can tell they take pride in their work, and it shows in every detail.

“My car was rear-ended coming back from the beach at Oceanside last weekend, and the driver was very apologetic and nice and wanted to see if he could pay for it outside of his insurance so his rates wouldn't go up. So I did what I could to accommodate him, and got 3 bids from local businesses including California Customs Autobody & Paint, which was referred to me by my boyfriend. They had the best bid by far and were so nice to deal with! My car looks brand new! They even buffed out other scratches and dings! It's amazing when everyone practices The Golden Rule, and what started out as a bad situation ended up being a wonderful experience because of how it all worked out! A win-win-win situation! I highly recommend going to California Customs Autobody and Paint to make your day much better if you get into a fender-bender!”

“I bought a cute but badly battered 1997 Yamaha G16 golf cart. It had deep gouges along both sides and nicks and gouges all round the the bag well area. It had been repainted at some point with spray cans which only accentuated the poor shape it was in. I had sourced several parts for it, some were salvaged due to the age of my cart. Before installing all the new parts I wanted to have it painted. I called Rafael at A Plus Paint and Golf Cart Repair and he responded in a timely manner with a quote. He came and picked up my cart, he communicated with me throughout the process and when he delivered my cart to me it looked like it was fresh off the showroom floor! My husband and I are absolutely thrilled! Rafael did it right! He took the cart apart versus just masking; as the previous painter had obviously done. He expertly sanded the entire body and he filled all of the gouges and nicks with a repair material made of plastic and sanded the body to perfection. Other shops I'd spoken to said they use Bondo which does not work for a plastic body. He primed, painted and pinstriped my cart beyond my expectation! He installed all my new parts and delivered the cart to me! I couldn't believe it when I saw it. It's better than new! He's honest and professional - I asked him to go through the cart to see if it needed mechanical repairs and he didn't find anything and was honest about it. Rafael went above and beyond! He stuck to his quote, he communicated with me throughout the process sending pictures and videos of the steps and the materials he was using. I could go on and on but the point is we chose the right guy/company to do a high quality, custom restoration of our cart! He's clearly an artist - the details he added to my cart are just gorgeous. We couldn't be happier. Sincerely grateful.”

“today was my first time needing a resolve to my battery in my truck. I don't live in palm desert but I do visit a few times a year in my RV so I'm disabled with MS and live on a limited income. my battery was done! I had to find a cheaper alternative to resolve my problem. oreily's wanted 230 dollars for a new one, autozone wanted 209.00 and Walmart wanted 189.00 and had none in stock. so I thought why not try a used batter. I searched used batteries in Palm desert and 5 choices came up. I called 2 others and it went to a voicemail the other a disconnected number I ended up calling Continental Battery and spoke to Chris. I explained my issue I explained my limited income and He was professional well spoken and said he had my right size and for 47.99 including tax and my core! I went to his shop. Very impressive store nice and clean. Chris showed me the battery I gave him mine and the guy is a very nice and trustworthy! I paid him and he even carried it out and put it in the bed of my dads truck. Then I was blown away cause he said it had a 90 day warranty. So I'm 57 yrs old and never seen such great ethics about business and doing helpful things that work not add to a issur. He sells mostly new batteries but has a used selection of good stuff. I took it to where I'm staying installed it in 10 min and my truck has a solid powerful starting capability and the volt gauge pedgged at 14 volts in the middle.. starts like a new battery!! I wish all businesses had a Chris attitude cause he solved my issue easily like it should be!! I recommend this business with full confidence!!”
“The car looks great! Me and my family have been to Fix Auto Palm Desert/Cat City a number of times, and this time I finally brought my car in to address a long-standing body/cosmetic issue. I'm so glad I finally did because I couldn't be happier with the results! They did an amazing job, and the pricing was very reasonable. “THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WILL BUY CAR BATTERIES FROM! I have dealt with this business for many years. The customer support and warranty is unmatched. Nowhere else are you going to get 6 year 2 battery replacement warranty. The last time I had an issue I took my battery into them and they informed me my battery was low, but it was likely the alternator, not the battery. I can say with confidence that 98% of service centers would have tried to sell me a battery anyways due to the age. The guy working actually gave me a loaner battery to take to the mechanic so I wouldn’t have to wait until mine charged. When my truck was fixed, I came back and swapped it out. NOWHERE ELSE would have done that. Try going to Costco or Walmart (where they have worse warranties) and getting that level of service. Won’t happen. They have a loyal customer here.”
