Rude receptionist who was not caring or supportive. She spit referrals at me so quickly to get me off of the phone.

To the lady who answered my sister’s request for a vet appointment with the statement that she should prepare for her dog to die if she wasn’t ready to spend. I hope you never own an animal. That was the coldest statement a young grad student could have heard today and I don’t think you deserve a single star.

Adopted my wonderful dog Betty from them 1,5 years ago and couldn't be happier! My partner and I take Betty to dog training (with Michael Chill), and also boarding, at the Amanda foundation when we travel and she absolutely loves going there and meeting the the members! A huge testament to the amazing work the team does to take care of the animals!

DO NOT CALL HERE!!! I have never had such an awful phone call with a vet clinic let alone a "foundation". Everyone usually is kind, helpful and generally loves animals and their health. I have been to many clinics. This woman that answered the phone today should be fired. She was condescending and rude to me that was uncalled for. Also as a reminder...THIS IS NOT A FOUNDATION TO HELP PEOPLE!! Their website has wrong information on it. She was extremely rude and when I told her I was embarrassed that I had to be calling in the first place (almost crying) SHE HUNG UP ON ME! She acted like since I wasn't from Beverly Hills services would not be offered to me. This is absolutely unreal behavior a regular person let alone a vet clinic that we trust to take care of our pets. I can see where all of the 1 star reviews are coming from. I've only had a few minute conversation over the phone and I've felt compelled to write a review and give one star... I only review when it is extremely bad so this was one of those time unfortunately. I also would to let it be known that I am small kitten foster for the ASPCA so I do have slight experience in this area.

I called this rescue in hopes to try to rehome my animal or get any information about how I could do that. Less than 10 minutes later I got a voicemail completely chewing me out for even considering doing that. I called them back and they said I need to be better dog parenting and training my dog without asking any personal information about my story. She is so rude and this was extremely hurtful in my soul because it's already a hard decision. Please show compassion as I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with what I just dealt with. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Thank you, Dr. Glicklin and staff, for taking care great care of my dog for her dental cleaning. Dr. Glicklin was great and very thorough in his explanation of what was going on with my dog. The entire staff was excellent and they seem to be very caring and compassionate. Thank you for taking care of our baby!

I am very confused with the phone call i just had with this clinic. I called the amanda foundation at 1/3/23 around 2:20 to make an appointment for my cat to get spayed and was greeted by a woman who very rudely took my call. As i was given a list of clinics who took my LA city spaying certificate (which the Amanda Foundation was on) she very rudely told me they did not serve my city. Even if she was correct, i still was very confused with where she was going with this. I told her i had a certificate and was referred to this clinic and she condescendingly went "oh well good for you! You're gonna have to call around." And hung up. I was quite shocked at the abruptness and attitude with the call as I was just looking for an inquiry on the services.

DO NOT TRUST THEM. I called in advance to get a list of fees and costs. After my dog's exam, they recommended services that cost almost $1,000. When I asked if I could just receive the services I requested over the phone, they said it would cost almost double what I was quoted and refused to honor the prices I was given saying I was "given incorrect information" over the phone. I would not have wasted my money here if they had been truthful about their prices upfront. The VCA was cheaper than this place and they are known for being more expensive.

Called the number listed on google, no response. Decided to show up since my cat was going semi bonkers and I figured neutering would help him settle more. Archie, the cat, has been through some bad owners and I have no info on his medical status. I received a voucher from a friend and I asked my friend if she could set up an appointment with these Amanda people and she said No. I was like why?!? It’s just a phone call. Well…I learned why.I called the number listed on google to no avail. Even left a sweet voicemail. I decided to drive up there, that same day, in person and got into an accident right in front of the building. This is real. After dealing with all that mess I am due to have my car repaired in a week. Having almost no options at first, I wanted to try and rely on human kindness. Assuming that those who work with animals day after day ought to have a special compassion. But this is the real world. Our current world. On their door they have a sign telling you to NOT ENTER and to just call this number so they can come out see what the hell you want. I explained my cat’s situation and the voucher I had revived from the last owner, my “friend”, and she said it was invalid and that I would have to go about filling my own voucher EVEN THOUGH it says that with written permission from the voucher holder, I can still go about using it. This lady just shut it all down (I could have easily lied to her saying that I am not the current owner and just taking care of him for a friend)She then went on saying how they were extremely booked anyways and how everyone and their mother wants their animals spayed/neutered. I tried to keep the conversation light and uplifting but she was just being naaasty. Despite all of that I still had the guts to ask for a favor if I can just keep my car there for a week until I’m able to send a towing company to move that car to the repair shop. I already knew she was going to say no but I was still curious aaaand She said NO. Why?“Because I don’t even know you”Ma’am. With all due respect, who would want to know you.Why would she let a stranger park there for a week? Damn. These are the people taking care of our pets. These are the people we are to trust.I am to return to the east coast for a month in less than two weeks and I need to make sure this cat is either okay to stay and be looked after or if I could somehow bring him with me.I understand I am nobody special. I deserve no special treatment or pity for the cards I’ve been felt. But to quote Charlie Chaplin,“We all want to help one another, human beings are like thatWe want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's miseryWe don't want to hate and despise one another // You don't hate!Only the unloved hate - the unloved and the unnatural!”Happy thanksgiving everyone. Pray for Archie, and my damn car.
