For the last time, after 14 years of regular visits and numerous vacation stays , I took my dog Luv, to this facility. Luv had gone blind and deaf , but with the help of these people and twice a day insulin shots , we had managed to keep him alive. He could hardly walk and we had to carry him outside for his business but lately he would not even wait to be carried out. Finally, Saturday morning when we approached him to take him out, we noticed he was gone. I was touched by how sympathetic the hospital people were when I called to inform them that Luv had Passed. They offered to receive the body for cremation. I was met by equally sympathetic staff who took Luv from me , one last time. Thank you Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital for a life time of good service. You were always there for us.

Can't say enough good things about this practice. When every other vet in town as become part of the same corporate group and the service seems to be less personal and more expensive, this veterinary group is a breath of fresh air. Not only does every one of their employees love animals, they are all sweet, caring and kind to the pets and their humans. Yesterday I had to rush my extremely old dog in during their lunch hour and with kindness and love they treated him instantly. This is just one of the many reasons my family loves this place. We have multiple dogs and they all go here with no complaint (at least from the humans). What really makes this place special is the follow up after a visit and the availability to speak with the doctors for follow up. After 25 years of having dogs, this is the only vet that I can say I have loved.

Home sick with Covid. Dog walker brought dog home with bee sting in paw. She took him to the vet for me and they called and want to charge $300 to remove stinger! Been a patient for over 25 years with various dogs and cats. What nerve. I am finished with them. They took advantage of my situation. Bad business practice.

Dr. Byun did a fantastic job taking care of our Yorkie in her final days. Very impressed with not only his technical knowledge and advocate for her as a patient but also his bedside manner. Highly recommend.

I have been taking my dogs for over 20 years to this hospital. Last few years has been different quality of service and care. All they do is put a number of tests for your pet, charge you and keep you waiting outside while you do not have access to your pet ( all of that as " Covid" measures)? Also, they are very rude and do not respond at all at any of your pet urgent needs. They just run the business with no concern for your pet.

Based on customer service I would give Krystal, who assisted me, a 5. She explained the process and gave me various options regarding treatment and care . She returned my call and was very pleasant. Stay tuned for part-two, I'm scheduled to take my dog there next week. Hope the actual service is just as good as the customer service. Thanks for great customer service Krystal at Beverly HiIls Small Animal Hospital.

It pains me to write this, after going to the BHSAH for almost 10 years... About 1&1/2 yrs ago, both Dr. Winters and Dr. Suehiro prescribed Apoquel allergy medicine for my allergic dog (who was up there in years but still in good health), which they said she could be on indefinitely. They did not explain the harmful and deadly side effects that could happen as a result of prolonged use, which can be seen in the attached links: This medicine, which was for a non-life threatening skin allergy condition, caused my dog's liver to fail, caused her to have seizures and ultimately caused the heart attack that killed her. A little over a month ago, my dog started having seizures out of nowhere, and when I brought her in to see Dr. Winters, he took her blood, told me that her blood work was "normal", prescribed anti-seizure medicine for her, and sent us on our way without even trying to determine the cause of the seizures. Unfortunately, one look at her blood work results showed they were far from "normal". The "ALP" liver test results came back dangerously high, indicating there was toxicity in the liver, yet both Dr. Winters and Dr. Suehiro completely discounted these results, and instead said her liver levels were "normal". This was contrary to the 2nd medical opinion I got shortly thereafter, which said that a high ALP level is far from "normal", and means there is a serious problem with the liver. I'd been going to Dr. Winters for almost 10 years, and he never even called to see how my dog was doing after I initially brought her in with the seizures. My dog passed away from a heart attack after her last seizure, 2 weeks after I brought her in to see Dr. Winters, and 2 weeks after he claimed that her blood work was "normal". Sadly, I had to be the one to reach out and let Dr. Winters know that my dog had passed away, since it was 3 weeks after the visit and he still hadn't called to check up on her. I will never forgive myself for trusting Dr. Winters and Dr. Suehiro's medical advice, and for continuing to feed my dog the non-essential poisonous medicine that ultimately led to her death. It haunts me every day and night. If I had only gotten a second opinion much earlier on, my dog would still be alive today.

Fifty years ago, we brought out first puppy to be seen by Dr Keagey and followed with our other pups with Dr Winters and then Dr Suehiro and then Dr Byun and then Dr Takahasi. To say that they have provided the best generational veterinary care for our doggies throughout the decades is an understatement. In today's corporate vet environment, where it is almost impossible to get any continuum of vet care, this is one place you can still find real quality of care! To the wonderful staff at BHSAH, a million thanks for caring for the unexpected delivery of 12 gorgeous poodle puppies. You were so kind and understanding of my predicament. Due to the Covid restrictions placed on us pet owners, you all filled in quite nicely in place of the usual one-on-one Dr interaction that was the norm before the pandemic. Thank you again!

I can't say enough great things about my experience with Beverly Hills Small Animal Hospital (BHSAH). The staff is amazing and friendly. Dr. Byun and Dr. Takahashi are just awesome people and veterinarians. They are thorough and always make sure to provide answers to all of your questions. They never rush you and always look out for the well being of my pets. While most of our interactions have revolved around wellness exams and checkups, there have been a couple occasions where my cats have had some serious upper respiratory infection flare ups. I can say that the BHSAH team really went out of their way to try and help my cats when they really needed it - they would communicate with me via phone, email, and text while I was out of town, and they would try to find earlier availability in their calendars to squeeze pets in need into their scheduling. Thank you BHSAH!
