Customer service is horrible , branch Beverly Hills is terrible . They made things like nightmare for me and sent me to crucial financial issues . I think eventually I should file a lawsuits against this horrible terrible bank . Please avoid this bank , they find some excuses and do not let you know and hold all your money ! This is a horrible branch, never answers the phone employees are rude, and you have to wait hours to access a banker, most of the time nobody is there except two to three employees, They are not working they just have fun, very poor customer service !

The staff don't know better about reputation and being helpful to honest citizens. People park there money for security, not for ridiculing.

not sure what's going on with this bank overall but it seems like none of the branches answer their phones. it's just a vicious cycle of pressing buttons and then the system hangs up. been trying to reach my banker for over three weeks. seems very stressful to bank with this bank. the customer service seems ridiculous. so many mistakes have been made and i've only been banking with them for a short period of time.

Worst branch EVER!!!! The rude customer service is beyond my comprehension. I've been a customer of Citibank for the past 15 years and my local branches have always treated me with respect and the best customer service. I just happened to be in Beverly Hills today and stopped to make a deposit and request some small change. The one and only machine that counts bills is broken and the teller has to count the bills by hand and rather slowly! I asked for $100 in $5 bills. The teller tells me that I have to order this in advance! What kind of joke is this ? Then I asked for $20 in quarters. They said they could only give me $10 and I have to share with other clients. This was at 10:30am. What bank does not have $100 in change?? The teller told me to go somewhere else to get more change!! This branch obviously gives zero crap about its clients. Only 2 tellers working while the others prefer to spend time looking at their phones. Long line of unhappy customers. Worst experience ever at a bank so far! They managed to top Bank of America on my list of branch to avoid

Pure fraud. Its one thing when some company fraudulently charges your credit card but its quite another when your credit card company does nothing about it after filing a dispute. You want to get taken for a ride? Open a CItibank account. HORRIBLE DISHIONEST COMPANY

This branch is awful. The branch manager is terrible too. Refuse to cash a check unless you have an account with them. Told me to go to another branch. What the hell?

I'm sorry for all the people who had terrible experiences at this branch of Citibank. I've been to this branch maybe a dozen times. Fortunately I never had to deal with that rude manager. Any time I've been there, the tellers have always been friendly and efficient. Once, I had to deal with one of the employers at a desk, when my brother applied to be a co-signer on my account. He was also friendly and efficient. Sometimes there is a long wait to see a teller, but sometimes it's a short wait. Some people complain about long lines / waits at banks. I tell them we're lucky to be able to go to a bank at all; bank branches are cutting down on employees due to the growth of online banking. I hope that Citibank fires the rude employees at this branch.

just got totally ripped off by Citibank took a promotion at 0% to be paid off by October 2019 took another promotion at 0.99% to be paid off by October 2020 paid $9000 to pay off my 2019 promotion and they applied it to my 2020 promotion and moved my 2019 promotion to standard purchases and now charging 16.7% interest. someone should go to jail such crooks never work with them again.

I was looking through my reviews. Saw this and wanted to update it. I continue to go into this branch of Citibank because my boss banks there and I often have to cash handwritten checks of his. Anyway, I will say that the wait time has improved in the past few months. I still prefer their competitors across the street, (by far), but this place is not quite the shitstorm that it used to be.

Came in to this bank to open an account, the guy with the accent didn't even let me complete my sentence he said " just take a seat and wait" I let his rude tone go an I sat down and wait an hour. The banker didn't acknowledge me , i went back to the service desk where I asked the man if there was anyone else can assist me , he told me that was the only banker and if I didn't want to wait I could go somewhere else. This is the worst bank I'll stick to Wells Fargo. Explains why it was so empty

The absolute worst Citibank I have ever encountered in my lifetime thanks to their RUDEST, ARROGANT and UNHELPFUL branch manager Armita Rohani. I was in the process of depositing a business check with a nice teller December of last year when the bank manager Armita Rohani was called in to assist regarding my small but reasonable request. I calmly explained what other branch managers have done for me in the past as I've been a loyal customer for 25 years. Before I knew it, she was tossing the check back over to me refusing my business and rattled about 50 reasons as to why she [gladly] couldn't/ wouldn't/ doesn't want to help me as opposed to finding 1 good one that she really should. I then reminded her how "poorly" this branch she manages is rated and it's no wonder why that is. But due to its convenient location, I still came here and that she should be more careful on how she treats her customers. After all, she is the branch manager (who's supposed to lead by example), I told her. She gave me a perfunctory response claiming "she appreciates it..." Then I shot back saying, "I don't think you do...since you just stood there arguing with me at your loudest voice embarrassing yourself versus listening to your customer's feedback." Armita Rohani of 9401 Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills is totally clueless about customer service let alone handling customers like me who has been doing business with Citibank for decades, perhaps longer than she's been with the company. This woman couldn't be more obnoxious, ill-mannered and unprofessional. She was instantly dismissive as if I was doing her a favor and gave me the impression that she would be more than happy to get rid of me--that was the premise of her 'customer service.' I really wish Citibank in the corporate world would replace her. And to be lump in the same company with other branch managers like in my area who's been quite a stellar contrary to Armita Rohani, just doesn't seem fair. I am more shocked and amazed on how she mistreats customers and gets away with this 'abhorrent attitude' representing Citibank all these years as their branch manager. It goes to show you how Citibank corporate world too, is poorly managed. This is how it trickles down to bad service.

This bank is very conveniently located and so I've been here numerous times for personal and work affairs. I'm beyond disappointed with the poor customer service received. Upon inquiry about a hold on incoming checks, I was told to speak with the bank manager, Ms. Rouhani, who was supposed to be able to fix this issue. Ms. Rouhani was rude, unprofessional and happy to refuse to do anything beyond saying "there's nothing I can do" and"This is standard protocol" Not sure what her problem was but she's definitely not made to handle customer concerns or communicate effectively with patrons. I contacted my home branch and was able to have the problem fixed immediately. So much for "standard protocol" This branch and Me. Rouhani are a very poor reflection of such a reputable banking institution. Citibank should definitely look into this issue and hire new personnel, retrain individuals who are tasked with customer concerns.
