Please do Not use this company for your move. Joe Reynolds seems like such a nice guy but he doesn't come through, and then he tries to keep your money. I wish I had paid attention to the negative reviews, but moving is stressful and I wanted to think positively. Reynolds didn't tell me he was a broker, not a moving company, and the outfit he contracted - American Pacific Movers - DID NOT SHOW UP, or call, and claimed it was "not their problem" when they answered their phone the next day. Next (36 hours later than scheduled) Reynolds sent over a completely inexperienced man named Fernando who claimed I had more items than listed, and tried to charge me $1000 more, without ever even looking at the bill of lading, where everything I had was itemized. 36 hours later I saw him trying to catch work from the parking lot of a Home Depot. It took my credit card company 2 months to get my deposit back from these chiselers, but I was lucky I'd used a card so they could fight for me. Don't make my mistake!

While I was initially concerned due to hearing horror stories about moving companies, I was very pleased with Continental's service. They were very prompt in pickup and delivery, and the movers and Joe (my representative on the phone) were extremely professional. I would definitely use them in the future again for my next move.Services: Vehicle transport

This was by far the best moving experience I have ever had, all thanks to continental moving services. The workers were professional, efficient, and took the time to get the job done right. 10/10 experience would reccomend this company and would use them again in the future.

I am very glad to have selected this company. In all honesty, I was very worried in the beginning. This was the first time I use a moving company, and some close family friends scared me at first saying that I can't trust movers, and that they would steal or break my items. Their google reviews weren't flattering either because of a mix up with another moving company with the same name, so I almost cancelled on them. Only when I saw that they were ranked A+ with the BBB that I decided to continue with them. I am glad that I did. They handled the entire process with care and professionalism. The cost is relatively above average, but I chose it because I wanted peace of mind.I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they don't handle car moving across the border (they do it via a 3rd party), and it was a bit of a challenge to get all the paperwork done. I decided to work with the 3rd party company directly for moving the cars.

I want to warn everyone not to use Continental Moving Services. We were scammed.I reserved them back in March of 2020. I had to move the moving date because the house did sell as quickly as we thought it would. They quoted us a price. I paid a $1000 deposit and secured the date. I was told I had an until a week before my move to cancel my move or I would lose my deposit. This week I was told that they needed more money because they underestimated the amount of our items in storage units, so I paid them any additional money. They also increased the price to move my car from $700 to $875. We are disputing the deposits paid with the bank. Two days ago we were told that Continental wouldn't be moving us, that they hired a third party name Ocean Moving and Storage. Today, we learned that Ocean Moving and Storage has a D minus rating with the BBB. I have researched Ocean Moving and Storage and found lots of complaints. The police found lawsuits against them in Florida.Today, they arrived with a tiny Enterprise Rental Truck. Nothing would have fit in it. We were confused why a reputable company would use an Enterprise Rental Truck. They wanted us to pay them using an app that you download on a phone, cash or with a cashiers check. The movers came inside and told us they would use two trucks to move us, but it would double our moving price. They also told us that they would charge us extra to move each lamp and protect any glass. The price kept climbing. We fired them. They NEVER loaded any of our items into the truck. The police have told us it is a good thing we didn't let them put our stuff in their truck because we would have probably never gotten our items back.We called Continental Moving Services to find out what was going on and were told that this is the way things go. Joe the guy at Continental Moving Services called us a little bit ago to tell us that we had forfeited our deposits. We told him this was a scam and hung up on him. This is a nightmare. Please warn everyone you know and please pray for a miracle.

I had a great experience with Continental! I was coordinating a very close elderly friend’s move. She was relocating from a very remote location in MT. The move went great, and everything was in tact, once delivered. I also worked with Joe Reynolds and thank him for his professionalism, responsiveness and great customer service!

I cannot praise this company enough. After the first company we hired failed TWICE to show up, we had to scramble and find a different company. We spoke to Joe Reynolds at Continental Moving and he explained that they were booked for about 2 months out. We explained the situation we were in and he went above and beyond helping us. They were able to squeeze us in and sent 2 really terrific movers (Arch and Cliff) who saved the day! Thanks again everyone, you all did a fantastic job!

Fantastic service. Great price. We had an exceptionally positive experience save except the communication part in terms of keeping us posted on the status. The goods that we shipped had all sorts of items - fragile glass items, China, fragile musical instruments. All of them came INTACT with NO DAMAGE. That was the best thing about these folks. I had expected about 10% damage and there was NONE.The folks that they send to load and unload were also exceptional people with fine attitude . They came in and did their job and were flexible and understanding about our concerns and allayed them.I would actually give them 4.5 stars because the .5 is just for the communication part. I highly recommend this for folks who want to move stuff across countries and will not hesitate to use their services for my next /subsequent moves

Through the beginning stages of the process, I really appreciated Jason’s quick responses and communication. Closer to the moving date, I got a call from their logistics manager, Joe. In this conversation with Joe, he double-checked that my stuff could be picked up on July 18/19 and he asked me what the first date of available delivery could be, which I told him July 30 because I was driving from Seattle, Washington to Pennsylvania, while trying to see a few things along the way. He said I should list my date as July 22. I quickly explained to him that I wouldn’t be in Pennsylvania by then, which he told me that my stuff won’t get there then due to the current moving times and it wouldn’t get there before the 30th. Because they were the experts, I agreed to this. He even told me that the movers might tell me not to list the 22nd, but I should do it anyways.Fast forward to the pickup date, 3 guys show up and load up everything relatively quickly, carefully wrapping everything. They were in and out probably within an hour and a half, which was quicker than what I was expecting. I ended up putting that my first date of delivery could be July 22, because that’s what Joe told me to do. And away my stuff goes and I hit the road to Pennsylvania. On Friday, July 26, I get a call from the moving company that they are going to be at my apartment the next day. I…was still in Tennessee on my road trip. Frantically, I call Jason stressed and panicked and he assures me they’ll figure something out and take care of it. In the mean time, I have to call my parents and landlord to see if there’s anyway that I can move into the apartment early, if they can be there to meet the movers, and get a money order ready for the last payment. This is the last thing I wanted to deal with on my trip across the U.S. My landlord says it could be fine but I’d have to pay extra prorated fees because I’d be moving into the apartment earlier. By the time Joe Reynolds gives me a call, I let Continental know that they don’t need to rearrange the delivery because I got things in place, but I am requesting a discount because of the increased proration rate and because I felt like I was advised poorly on what delivery date to list. Joe was very defensive and pretty much non-apologetic on the call, but begrudgingly said he would credit my credit card $150 to help deter the $200 extra I would be paying to “move” in early. I also requested an accurate time of delivery, because I’m coordinating all of this 800 miles away. Joe, the LOGISTICS MANAGER, couldn’t give me an estimated time of delivery and said he would need to talk to the driver. But get this…Joe then called me back to ask what the driver’s phone number was. WAIT, so the LOGISTICS MANAGER doesn’t even know the phone number of the driver for my stuff? Wow.The day of move in arrives and I call my parents for an update. They said it was okay, but the driver was the only one who showed up to unload the truck. I had a 3-person couch, a larger dresser, large tv stand, kitchen island, etc. and there is no way that 1 person can offer “white glove service” when delivering these items. In addition, the driver did not assemble any of the furniture, as stated in the contract, and my parents even had to help unwrap some of the things that were wrapped up. At this point, I feel like I had been hoodwinked, so I called Jason and email both of them to inquire about why this happened and to check in on the $150 credit. I emailed them on July 27, July 31, August 1, and August 5 and haven’t heard back from them once, nor received the $150 credit that Joe told me that they would issue. Additionally, I requested a final receipt (so my work can reimburse me) that shows that I paid the full amount in my August 1 email – and never heard back. BEWARE AND AVOID.

With every move there is always some concern or issue that comes up. The move was from East coast to west and we honestly didn’t know where to start. When we called Continental Moving Services, Joe (Reynolds) really helped with everything from start to finish and genuinely cared about our concerns and addressed them accordingly. Thank you.
