Droëwors is a culinary delight that shouldn’t be overlooked. Id love to ask the expert who has tasted all the delights this establishment has to offer: which their favorite are and what’s the favorite spicy option?

Some of the best bratwurst and meats you will find in Los Angeles. They also have a small grocery section of hard to find items.

Delicious sausage. We tried a little of everything for a party we had. No complaints. My favorite had peri peri in it, but then I'm nostalgic for Africa sometimes.

The best (and only?) place for Droewors, Biltong, etc etc. And the staff are super nice! I live down in the South Bay and I still find a way to make it here as often as I can.

I have been coming here for decades. It brings back memories of my grandfather taking me here when I was a little kid. The place never changed and neither did the people. I always feel welcomed and the food is always 5 stars. Highly recommend the Biltong and Droewors.

Fantastic meats. The most awesome butcher in town. Very fresh sausages. Biltong is amazing!

Great place for freshly smoked sausage like landjager and spicy Hungarian style sausage. They have a unique offering of South African smoked meats like droewors, and biltong. Since they smoke/cure on site you can get hard, medium and soft versions of the smoked meats. They've also got a full deli for salamis, teewurst, terrines, and cheeses with a focus on harder to find items. Finally, there's a few isles of European mustards and other condiments, cookies, breads, etc. Staff is friendly. Parking in back or on street.

This was by the worst Biltong I've ever had in my life. I had other people try it to make sure it wasn't just a preference thing and not one person could eat it. I had to throw out the whole pound of meat, something I've never done before but it was not edible. It also had a weird smell to it. This is not authentic biltong by any means. Please don't think this is what biltong is.

My South African friend took me here years ago and I've been hooked ever since. This is a very small neighborhood, mom and pop establishment. I stopped by today and the owner's wife let me know that her husband actually retired and the entire establishment is ran by 4 people. I find this very impressive. For anyone, that's not familiar with European goods, stop by and give the Biltong a try- think beef jerky, but fresher, and better than you've ever had. I also love Droewors and smoked beef sticks, they are great protein snack options for me. You can't really go wrong with anything here, they have some of the most delicious, homemade cured meats, sausages, and condiments, snacks, etc. I always look forward to stopping by. I've always gotten the best service here. I hope they never close!

Service was great, the woman behind the counter was very helpful and gave me a few samples and explanations so I could find what I was looking for. A friend game me some biltong the other day and I made the trip just to pick some up! Great little spot with lots of specialty meats as well as a great selection of European and South African treats. I will be back

I've shopped a few times. Staff are knowledgeable and very friendly. Wonderful selection of delicious sausages. It's well worth the effort to get there.

This is the place to get your biltong fix. And why not get sausages for your next BBQ gathering. They have a wide and superb selection of German and South African sausages...less work for the hosts and more quality time with friends and family. Enjoy.

Long overdue 5 Stars to (very unfortunately) the last remaining German/European artisanal sausage maker in LA, esp. now that Alpine Village Market has closed (2023), and lucky me, they’re only 2 miles away from me. They have Wieners, Knackwurst, Weisswurst, Landjägers and all the other good stuff. Great selection of related food products (jarred sauerkraut etc...) and European candies. They also have meat products (Boerewors, Biltongs, etc...) for the South African expat community.

Took my 82 year old Austrian mother here. Great service and product, especially the meats.
