What a sorry excuse for a bank, the branch (beverley hills), and some of the staff. I am so done with this joke. Look at reviews of all branches. They're RARELY above 2 stars. Most are 1.7 or below. What does that tell you?? STAY AWAY AND MOVE YOUR ACCOUNTS ASAP.We got passed along when this bank bought some or all of Citibank and their different bank brands. I've given them a lot of chances over the past year or 2. But it keeps getting worse and worse. This one teller, Nicole B., is just over the top. After being there for almost a year she deposited my checks into completely different person. And she was just haughing about it like it wasn't a big deal. Today I went to send a wire transfer. I told her that I had to catch an appointment in a short time. It took her 35 minutes!!!! In the middle of it she had to walk to her manager for approval, which was fine. She slowly walked over to the manager. Eventually she started walking back. I swear a bride walking to alter walks faster. It was like looking st someone in slow motion. Mind you I told heri was running really late. She was doing it on purpose. On her way to back to us she rubber necked everywhere as she walked super slowly.I've been dreading the move because I have a dozen or so personal and business accounts. Making all those changes everywhere is a daunting task. BUT I'M DONE WITH THIS LEVEL OF INCOMOETECY AND LACK OF CARE.FIRST CITIZENS BANK SHOULD BE CALLED LAST RESORT BANK. GOOD RIDDENS FCB, NICOLE B. AND ALL OTHER NON CARING PEOPLE TO THE TOP OF THEIR FOOD CHAIN!!!

95% of the time only one teller works!!! This is not a little bank. Yet they're so cheap and make clients wait for a long time. Standing here now, just one person at the counter, one customer standing there for 20 minutes!!! This bank sucks. I'm taking out all of my accounts

The worst customer service. After reading and seeing all the other reviews, I’m so happy that I decided not to bank with them. I called this branch to find out the interest rate they are offering on a liquid money market account. Fernando gave me the information on different programs and quoted me 4.25% interest for a liquid money market account. I asked him if I should make an appointment to come see the banker to open up an account. He told me it wasn’t necessary and I could just walk in. I am battling cancer. It wasn’t easy for me to get there. As soon as I walked in, they told me That the customer service representative in charge of opening up new accounts is busy. She was sitting in her office and did not even have the courtesy to come and introduce herself. They told me I should make an appointment to open up an account. I reminded Fernando that I had just talked to him over the phone and he had told me that an appointment was not necessary. Finally, the customer service representative came out to introduce herself she was passive aggressive and told me I should come back the next morning. I told her that I wasn’t available the next morning so she said she will call me later on to schedule a time. She never called me. I called the bank again a couple of days later and asked them to have someone on the private banking side to contact me since I wanted to move a large amount of money to their bank. They promised that someone would call by the end of the day. Someone finally called me Just to let me know that Fernando had made a mistake and they do not offer 4.25% interest on a liquid money market account. I have never worked with a bank Where the employees do not know what kind of programs are available. This bank sells itself as providing great customer service and how banking is about people first and Money second - and how they have experienced bankers on hand to talk to customers and to meet their needs. Well in my case, and it seems in the case of many other customers, that is not the true. I do not recommend this bank to anyone that wants any quality customer service.

Worst customer service. I have been with one west for 15 years and I am shocked at the level of unprofessionalism, especially Erica.. operation manager. I am taking my business elsewhere. You can thank Erica!

I have been banking at this location since well before First Citizens took over from First Regional (something with the SEC involved and it all worked out great). I am extremely satisfied with the service the bank provides, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful at all turns. Good hours, never crowded and their website is secure and easy to navigate. five stars, two thumbs up, top shelf rating!!! Well fast forward three months and after 17 years without so much as an advance phone call or inquiry to me, the account holder, they unilaterally closed my account, and it took a herculean effort on my part (and very much self restraint too) in order to get a very unsatisfactory explanation. My bank didnt like that i would deposit monies and very shortly thereafter withdraw it in the form of cashiers checks. They thought that wasn't business like for a law firmand although they werrent going to tell me how to run my law practice, they thought the fact that i took my money out of the bank suspicious. Christ how does Warren Buffet keep a bank account? He and many other big money investor types have pulled billions in cash out of banks in the last several years. Add to that piss-poor explanation, the fact that the letter i got unsigned by the local branch person who authored it had my name spelled incorrectly three different ways in four lines of type and, AND, it was addressed to Ms. Legget. Having just returned from the restroom, I can be certain that my gender is still "hanging in there" and I remain a bona fide male for all purposes. (except it seems for letters written by nasty bank personnel) Thanks nameless signature-less blonde haired letter writer, person in [purported]charge of operations at Century City branch. Its a good thing Banks lost their aura of professionalism a long time ago, otherwise you'd be needing a job yesterday. Karma is a peach, lady. You'd do well to keep that in mind. We all would. So changing my prior two thumbs up and five star rating, and just like in "The Pope of Greenich Village" we chop those two thumbs right off, drop three stars, and add one large turd. (the two stars are for the employee tellers who always treated me with courtesy and a smile and simple but profound professionalism, unlike Ms Operations d who didn't want to have to work a minute past Five, when the doors shut, as if it were a crime to have to re-open them and let a customer, who was in before five, out for the evening!
