March 2024 by A Beautiful Day
I want to say thank you to Emanuela Selva! She is the best teacher of Yoga and mat Pilates.I’ve been doing yoga with Emanuela almost a year. I attend all classes with her, it’s a three times per week. And I want more!! Let me tell you why. I noticed that since I’ve been doing yoga regularly I have more energy, found my mind-body connection and feel more focused and present in my daily life.Emanuela is a high-end professional! She knows exactly what she is doing and as a student I can feel it. The energy is always amazing, appropriate music that helps to relax or wake up. Sometimes she adds a new techniques and it helps me to grow.I want more classes with Emanuela in LA Fitness Beverly Hills because then I will go 5 or 6 times for my yoga and this experience will definitely make my life even better!!!I definitely recommend YOU to go for yoga classes with Emanuela! I started as a beginner and now I am addicted with yoga. So, if I can do it you can do it too :)

Place is very dirty. Stuff is very unprofessional and disrespectful. Also if you want to cancel your membership they will start to play some stupid game to make it difficult. Highly not recommend LA fitness.

Been coming here bc the larger location was always dirty. But they've really cleaned that place up and cracked down on bad behavior from members. Seems like the unsanitary members have moved to this location now. Sauna issues mostly. Women pouring oils everywhere from open jars, getting it all over the benches and floors. Sitting bare a$$ on the sauna and locker room benches, no undies and no towel. Exfoliating their feet and getting dead skin all over the floor. Gym is still great for the size but you can't be squeamish if you're going to hit the sauna.

There is always, at a minimum, a dozen machines out of service. Typically takes months to fix. See pictures all taken 2/15/24

Emanuela Selva’s yoga classes are amazing. I started taking her classes 6 months ago, 2 to 3 times a week. I remember my first class feeling totally out of alignment, not in flow and an amateur at pretty much all the poses. I hadn’t taken yoga since the pandemic and wanted to get back into it. I was lucky to have found her classes at LA Fitness. She synchronizes breath and movement seamlessly. Between her Hatha and Vinyasa flow classes, she puts together a perfect choreography of movements. Each class is unique to its goal, and she curates the best music that plays to your movement and flow. She is a yoga teacher that clearly loves what she does, and it shows in her energy and how she conducts her class. It’s a perfect symphony. Six months later I can do poses I never thought were possible, I have more mobility and flexibility. And most importantly, I can connect and go within in a flow state guided by her verbal, visual cues and the music. It’s become such an important part of my weekly routine. It’s a gift and I highly recommend her classes.

I am 60 years and joined this some months ago. I live in the area and was hoping this gym would be good but turns out the high schoolers in the gym take over the machines for more than one hour and refuse to let anyone else workout. My complaints to manager Chris fell on deaf ears as he believes in gaining more memberships and leaving members to fend for themselves. Possibly the worst gym i have been to and i have been to many. Needs to be avoided.

The biggest problem is carelessness regarding health. Most pads on equipment are cracked, exposing foam filler that can harbor bacteria and foster staff infections. Locker rooms are poorly maintained and often filthy. I don't blame the janitorial staff for that individually; they seem to work hard, but there's too much for such a small team to stay on top of. This is a location that charges extra for such amenities as soap and towels, but soap is often missing from showers. When questioned about this recently, a staff member whined that people steal the soap and management won't provide replacements. Great. So maybe I should withhold my payment and still expect to use the gym? As noted elsewhere, the selection of equipment is poor. For instance, there are only two stations to do curls on a machine, and for more than a week one was unusable because the staff wouldn't replace a $1.50 clip. When a rowing machine stopped working, staff took months to address the problem at all, then falsely claimed it was repaired. A week later, a panel for readouts on the machine -- resistance level, rowing speed, etc -- fell off. Actually, it looked like an angry customer might have snapped it off. It took staff weeks to fix that.

Really nice gym. Super clean. Nice view of the street. Love that the free weights are downstairs and there’s a sign that you can’t bring weights upstairs. Love that !!Only issue is the parking garage is weird and it’s difficult to get up and down from ur car to the gym and back. Odd design.

I've only been in here once, but I'm always at the Rite Aid next door, so Google thinks I'm in LA Fitness all the time, haha. ??So all I can say about it is that it's always busy, so people must like it? Seems gross and all sweaty in there if you ask me, lol. They do have a cute little pool in the back though.

Staff has always been helpful and friendly until they got this CHRIS, that’s the second time he is rude and annoying! I just cane to make exercise and this guy ruined all my experience! I pay 31 dollars a months for barely two visits and now I don’t even feel like it’s worthy.
