They forgot our cocktails twice. The server wasn’t really interested in our table it felt like. The fish cakes were delicious, we really recommend those. But the meat was far below what we are used to. I am used to more French and Dutch steak and this wasn’t super good. It was really below average. The scallops were delicious though. It was really amazing.

A fantastic place to get prime rib in So Cal if you're missing House of Prime Rib in the Bay Area. The pricing is very similar and the quality of the prime rib is very close, I don't think I could tell which is better, both are excellent. Only difference is you don't get a second slice, there is only one side which is mashed potatoes, and the Yorkshire pudding portion is 1/4 the size you get at HOPR. So don't expect to be as full as you would be at the other spot. I recommend the California slice unless you want leftovers, because I can't imagine many can finish the Lawry's Cut in one sitting. However, unlike in the Bay, the vibes here are much more "Beverly Hills" and less warm and friendly, and the place felt more like we were being herded like cattle to our tables with the crowded lobby with limited seating, so don't come too early for your reservation as there's not much space to wait comfortably (though there is a bar if you want a drink). Still, the trouble was worth it for a delicious meal.

the food is always delicious! i'm not a big fan of creamed corn, but this was the best creamed corn i've ever had! now i'm a fan of creamed corn...well lawry's creamed corn! i love how the chef carves the prime rib and plates your meal at your table! the prime rib was great, but was lacking seasoning however they provide their lawry's seasonings on the table for use! the restaurant and the waiters' uniforms are old fashioned which is a cool feel from other restaurants!

So where do I start, Hummmm! FIRST LET ME SAY THE MANAGER IS SO RUDE AND HURTFUL HE NEEDS TO GO !!!!!! We have been coming here for YEARS, Unfortunately this time was just a very off evening. I started by ordering a house glass of red wine and than the waitress say's, I have one just a cheap but better, Omg, lol, so embarrassing , but okay ! I then went on to order the lobster bisque soup and it smelled like fish so bad, So I called the waitress and she returned it, and than in the end charged us for it and we asked her to removed it from the check as she should and she did. I ask for a correct pepper shaker and that was another issue, as mine was empty. The food itself was okay, But being asked over and over again if we were ready to order was crazy, We wanted to relax a little, Not be forced out so quickly ! After what was such a frustrating dinner, We asked for the check and paid it and left a tip for the waitress and than she chased my husband out, After she felt we didn't leave enough tip, Omg so humiliating ! Well needless to say I called the manager and explain everything that happened and he said he would get back to me and that the waitress we had was there for 30 years and btw she has waited on me before. The manager never called me back so I had to call him 3 times to get him on the phone, and when I did he was SOOOOOOO RUDE and condescending , And completely lied to me. I told him I would call corperate and he said go ahead they will just refer you to me again and too bad, Wow, Never experienced this from a manager before ! I am a customer, Not some piece of shit ! He told me he was NOT going to do anything and basically hung up on me, Just terrible, I will call cooperate Monday morning first thing, Im even going to try to get Ryan on the phone and let him know how we were treated by the HEAD MANAGER, JUST TERRIBLE!
