LILY et Cie is described as an extraordinary and divine treasure trove of true couture fashion and accoutrement, a creme de la creme of glamour and chic. The space is magnificent with unique art deco fixtures, and the collection is amazing and world class, featuring decades worth of era-defining couture and exquisite merchandise. The curators and owners are noted as being gracious, knowledgeable, lovely, and fun, making visitors feel incredibly welcome and comfortable. Visiting is likened to spending time in a museum, with extra care and respect given to the merchandise. However, serious concerns are raised about the business's integrity and trustworthiness. There are allegations of refusing to return or pay for consigned clothing, including museum-worthy pieces, for extended periods. One account describes a returned gown missing its original haute couture zipper, lessening its value. The owners are accused of intimidating and bullying behavior, hanging up the phone rather than resolving issues. While the store and collection are phenomenally beautiful, these actions place its integrity in question.
lovely establishment, full of sumptuous clothes from every designer that's ever been worthwhile. Rita is so knowledgeable and warm. The sales associate that helped me, Blake, was exuberant `and profoundly helpful. I will come back for my wedding gown.

Rita and Michael were gracious and knowledgeable, and they have an amazing, world class collection. I have met nuns and queens with less grace and composure and somehow, I felt incredibly welcome and comfortable whilst surrounded by decades worth of era defining couture. Worth a visit regardless of how far you have to drive.
