Lumiere Music Hall is a small, independently owned theater known for its affordable prices and unique experience. It features a two-screen setup that makes independent and foreign films accessible in LA. The $8.50 matinee offers great value, with short trailers of about 10 minutes. The theater has a nostalgic, old-fashioned charm and is praised for its friendly staff and reasonably priced snack bar, including popcorn under $5. It often screens a variety of films, from low-budget martial arts movies to educational documentaries, attracting movie lovers from around the world. Conveniently located near metered and paid parking off Doheny Drive, Lumiere Music Hall provides a cozy, welcoming space for those seeking quality films at budget-friendly prices.
Love how an old-school cinema from pre-WW2 era is still operating here.

I love coming here on Sundays when there's plenty of free meter parking. The place is run down but they always have a good selection of films.

Just finished watching a screening of The Lost Fortune of Oliver Brody. The cinema has a nice retro feel while still feeling modern and clean. The staff are wonderful and I highly recommend everyone and anyone pay a visit to Lumiere Cinema!
