????? Five-Star Review for Progressive Shoe Repair in Beverly Hills! ?????I cannot praise Progressive Shoe Repair in Beverly Hills enough! If you're looking for top-notch craftsmanship, exceptional service, and a true passion for preserving the beauty of your favorite footwear, look no further. From the moment I walked into their shop, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff's expertise and dedication to their craft were immediately evident. They took the time to listen to my concerns about my worn-out shoes and provided insightful recommendations on the best way to restore them. The results were absolutely astonishing! It's as if my shoes were given a new lease on life. The attention to detail and meticulous work put into repairing and refurbishing them is nothing short of impressive. My shoes not only look brand new but feel comfortable as ever. What truly sets Progressive Shoe Repair apart is their commitment to sustainability. In a world where disposable fashion is prevalent, it's refreshing to find a business that values quality over quantity. Their dedication to repairing and revitalizing instead of replacing aligns perfectly with the ethos of reducing waste and environmental impact. The prices are reasonable considering the exceptional quality of their work and the personalized attention each pair of shoes receives. You truly get what you pay for, and in this case, it's craftsmanship that's second to none.Thank you, Progressive Shoe Repair, for your outstanding service! You've gained a loyal customer who will undoubtedly spread the word about your expertise. STAY AWAY! Awful business and customer service. Worse I’ve ever experienced. Avoid at all costs. Had a small stain in my suede shoe that needed to be fixed and they ruined my shoe beyond repair. $750 shoes ruined and they think they made it right because they refunded $60 fee. Ridiculous. It literally looks like 2 different shoes now! I tried to see if any other shop could fix their mistake and they said it’s impossible, they did THAT bad of a job! MANY have been sharing the same experience. If you care about your belongings go elsewhere. Worst business owners I’ve ever dealt with

I do not like to leave Yelp reviews, however, I was treated very badly by this business and felt the need to share my experience. I am a shoe lover. I own many pairs of special designer shoes and have depended on this shop for the past 20 years to keep them in great condition. I am meticulous with my shoes and that is why they last so long. Each pair of shoes is stored in it's original box with the receipt taped inside along with any dust covers and spare parts (such as heel taps and shoe laces) provided by the designer.I was introduced to this business, years ago, when I sold shoes on Rodeo Drive. At the time, they had a relationship with many of the stores on the street and handled repairs. I patronize this business several times a month and always have several pairs with them for repair. I always thought that they were overpriced and the owner tries to upsell you and tell you you need additional repairs. Despite that, they do nice work and have rebuilt several pairs of delicate exotic shoes and boots.Last week I brought in a pair of rare, vintage LV shoes to replace a heel tap that had broken. I provided the replacement heel tap that LV had included with my purchase (since it was a unique color.) I told Virgina (one of the business owners) not to rush my repair this since I did not need them immediately and to take care of someone else who may be in a hurry for their repair. She charged me $38 dollars ($20 for the broken heel taps with the part I provided along with a broken strap on only the left espadrille - not even a pair). I finally got my shoes back 10 days later and picked it up on a Saturday morning.I wore them to work on Monday morning and 1 hour later I noticed that they were both broken again and one heel tap had fallen off and the other was cracked. I dropped them back to Progressive, that evening, and told Virgina what happened. She looked at me and said "this is your fault." I was very confused at her wording but she kept repeating that to me. She then proceeded to tell me that it was a bad piece I had provided. I asked her why hadn't anyone mentioned that to me when I dropped it off and suggested another option? She told me there was going to be another charge. I was upset but left them, anyway. I honestly didn't think she would actually charge me and she would stand behind her work when I returned.I went in today to get them and she told me there was going to be a charge. I calmly told her that I didn't think that was right and to reconsider. I mentioned again that I had been a customer for 20 years and it broke 1 hour later. She kept telling me again and again that "it was my fault." She then looked at me and told me to never come back again. Horrible.I come from a family of business owners and we would never treat a customer like this. I wanted to share my experiences about being treated terribly and Progressive not willing to stand behind their work for something so minor as a heel tap repair and to try and nickel and dime a long-term client for $10. So insulting and ridiculous. Please take your business elsewhere! I have shared this story with all of my friends (who are their customers!) and I am sure they will also tell their friends to take their designer shoes elsewhere! Shame on you Progressive Shoe Repair!

Was recommended here by Jimmy Choo on Rodeo for adjustments. This shop has been here for 40+ years and their quality and attention to detail truly shines through their work. Highly recommend!

They added an insole to my shoes and then put the original lining back on top and it looks original. Very nice work!

I put my lamb skin beige YSL bag on a table in a very dim lounge and apparently, there was some alcoholic blue beverage residue on it and it stained my bag!! I was so sad because it's a new bag I bought. The Saint Laurent boutique said they could not repair it because the type of stain but referred me to Progressive. They send a lot of their customers here for repairs. What really made me want to come here is that the staff at Saint Laurent said if the shoe shop can't get the stains out, they can color match it perfectly and paint over it, FYI! I will definitely be back for other repairs in the future! Thank you!

The Lady in the front is very rude to customers. She is very unprofessional. Don't know if she's the owner or if she's an employee but horrible customer service. As long as she's working there I would not recommend anyone going there.

Great place for bag repair! Saint Laurent on Rodeo Dr. sends their repairs here. This is a real neighborhood shoe repair, except the neighborhood is the Beverly Hills 'golden triangle' and there are signed celebrity photos all over the walls. There's easy free parking at the parking structures for one or 2 hours just down the street on Crescent Drive or Beverly Drive, or metered parking right in front. I've been to several other local repair shops but I came here because the Saint Laurent boutique recommended them for bag repair (actually it's a men's leather backpack) and said that this is where they take their own bags to repair them. When you walk in the store you'll see Joan Collins and some other fabulous celebrities staring down at you from the walls, signed and dedicated to the owner of the shop. I saw a certificate saying that Jimmy Choo used this shop exclusively with their shoes (fitting? repairs?) for an awards ceremony in 2008. It's what you call a 'mom and pop' shop, The woman that helped me has obviously been working in the store since it started. I have to admit she was a bit cranky at first because the person in front of me had forgotten her claim tickets and it took 10 minutes to find her shoes. Please, whatever you do don't forget the little claim ticket when you drop your shoes off! You will be scolded like a bad teenager. Otherwise she was quite pleasant when I returned to pick up my backpack and they did a beautiful job. Both zippers had broken and they managed to fix the springs inside the zipper pulls and keep the original Saint Laurent zippers! Amazing. So happy. It was ready in one week, exactly when she said it would be and everything is great. I also found the price very reasonable, especially being in Beverly Hills. I would not hesitate to take my shoes or my bags back to this little shop. Just don't forget your claim ticket whatever you do!
