Very bad experience with and institution who should be there as support for the community yet they double charged our card and try to get more money out of us taking advantage of people even in moments of grief like a memorial. Do not do business with these people!!!! If you do protect yourself and make sure your credit card has a good protection plan!!

Joining Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills has been one of the best things I have done for my family. I could've never imagined in my wildest dreams the degree and the multitude of ways that joining this temple has enriched our lives. The congregation is fabulous, kind, welcoming. The Rabbis are brilliant, caring, engaging and create a sense of community. The Temple as a whole is amazingly generous, inclusive and supportive to everyone. This is as close to a sanctuary as it gets both literally and figuratively. The programs for children and youth are just amazing. We are a secular family and when we joined the temple my kids had very little jewish education. They never felt like an outsider, and in fact, the staff, educators, directors and rabbis made sure that they felt safe, welcome, and appreciated in every possible way. The leadership and staff are all extremely caring, supportive and nurturing. The programs ranging from the religious school, to madrichim (like teaching assistantship for post-bar/bat mitzvah children), passport (social justice/community engagement leadership training), and the Youth organization (for teenagers) have been incredible in educating my children in jewish culture and values, in developing leadership skills, critical thinking, social awareness, social skills, emotional security, and more. The directors of madrichim, youth group, and religious school as well as the clergy have also served as amazing role models for my kids. I could have not asked for better role models. I cannot say enough good things about this amazing Temple. I feel lucky to have had been part of this community. Thank you TEBH from the bottom of my heart!

First time going to a Temple in 20 years and no reaction from the minister or welcome I guess I’ll never be going to that Temple again why bother no courtesy anymore in the world unfortunately that’s why I became a DJ Minister to bring back spirituality ???? at least when you went to Temple in the old days they used to greet you with the rabbi nowadays they don’t even do that sensitivity has gone from temples that is why I am a moving Temple and I go where I am needed and I am always courteous wherever I go I always bring a smile to peoples faces whenever I can courteousness is missing from your temple and you Should not rush potential new members especially potential new rabbis like me I just wanted to see if I wanted to be a part of the temple so that I can help more people on the larger scale I don’t submit resumes I go to places to see what their true intentions are and it felt to me like a rush Job

First Shabbat. Barely anyone there. The cantor rushed out of the service right afterwards and said to my son , who is in a power wheel, that her dog had to go to the bathroom. Nobody bother to talk with us.

This is an amazing Temple. I grew up here, I learned to read Hebrew, and the services are great. The Rabbis are very funny and inclusive but we never forget the values of Judaism. This is an amazing reformed temple because they truly make the religion fun! They have services for Martin Luther King Jr. Day and also LGBT+ month.Oh and they give you bagels in the mornings!!!!!!

This was my beginning as a Jew. Here I started Hebrew school in about 1964, and was bar mitzvahed in 1968. Almost all the Beverly Hills Jews went here. We learned Hebrew, sang the songs and were encouraged to enjoy the cultural and religious aspects of Judaism. Temple Emanuel was the base camp for my 1970 Ulpon to Israel for ten weeks. In ‘71 I left for college. Being a reformed Jew my Jewish “universe” was Temple Emanuel. A very important influence in my life.
