I got my hair cut and colored my the master himself Umberto. He was the nicest hair stylist! I let him do whatever he saw fit and he did a wonderful haircut that no one has ever been able to duplicate again! I got this done for a tv show on lifetime that gave me a makeover. It was an amazing experience! This was about 23 years ago and I’ll never forget! 🥰💕

It’s n Beverly Hills but they are not professional at all it’s just expensive I went to get a hair cut from thima he has no knowledge of hair design! he doesn’t know how to cut made me so mad so angry don’t know how to blow dry don’t waste your money be careful waste of 120$ very unsatisfied very unhappy with my cut! Waste of my money I am going to call my bank today dont go to Thima he will destroy your hair! Don’t believe all these trash reviews they are bunch of lies!,,

I was staying for a week at the Dream Hollywood Hotel to be near Kaiser Los Angeles where my husband underwent heart surgery. I was advised by a case manager to take care of any personal needs prior to my husband's discharge as I would be very busy when I got him home. I desperately needed a haircut and was hoping to find someone who was experienced with short hair. Lucky for me, I asked Sara, manager at the Dream, if she knew anyone great for short hair cuts - who also might be able to get me in for an appointment on short notice. She got me an appointment at Umberto, where both her mother and grandmother have been going for years. Everyone with whom I interacted at the salon was warm and gracious. The owner? manager? made a point of greeting me warmly, saying Sara had told her all about my situation. The best part of my experience was Astrid!!! She is charming and gave me my most favorite haircut in years!

Pros: I am completely delighted with the haircut and color I got from the Asian man whose name I can't remember. Miracle! He's like a magician with hair. He has a strong accent so if you're a language snob leave your attitude at home and enjoy the experience cuz he's got a nice personality too. The salon itself is spacious and clean. The design of this salon is pleasing but frankly, not on the comfortable side;hard chairs, cold and old dryers, etc. Is there a reason they don't change out the water faucets for single-handed? I mean why do they have to keep adjusting the temperature between shampoo, rinse & condition? Why does the rest of the staff seem so uptight? Ugh! From the minute I walked in, the vibe was off. I have never felt so rushed in and out of a salon in my life! But again, I give 10 stars to the Asian man with the thick accent who did my cut and color - two process.
