I had my wedding here and everything was absolutely perfect and beautiful! Laurie is amazing and helped the wedding process go so smoothly along with her staff. Our guests had the best time and the venue was spot on. Also we loved the breakfast all home cooked and delicious. I would definitely stay here again and recommend for a wedding or just a weekend stay.

Exceptional service, very friendly, staff is awesome! Bridal suite is beautiful. Our bride and groom slept through breakfast, but thankfully the staff saved breakfast for them, which was greatly appreciated! Manager Rae is great! Highly recommend. Gem of a place to stay in Big Bear!
Nearby activities: Rathbun Creek bike/walking path, beautiful and shaded. Moonridge Coffee Company & Dank Donuts for great pastries, breakfast, and lunch.

Such in awesome experience for my group. I've been attending for a long, long time. Have been through many managers. But, I
can honestly say with no doubt new manager Rae really is on it and is a perfect fit. Her being a crafter and in the world of scrapbooking, she understands what's needed. Great customer service, her baking skills are amazing. We have faith that you will see and experience nothing but greatness with her there.

We had our wedding here and it was an absolute dream. From the moment we stepped on the property, we fell in love and it was smooth sailing from there on out. Laurie was absolutely fantastic, taking care of everything we needed, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the location was. Highly recommend!

GORGEOUS GORGEOUS. Unique. Spent 3 nights there with an old school friend. One night we made a charcuterie board and had wine out in the gardens in the gazebo. All the little and the little creek made it feel like we were in a story book. Comfortable beds and quaint rooms. We all sit around big tables for breakfast and the hostess introduces you to everyone as you sit down to encourage conversation which was awesome. You can also have your own private table if needed, but this is a B&B so talk to the other guests they can tell you some wonderful things to do that you did not know. Still friends with a couple I met 3 years ago and will be catching up in a few months at Apples. Breakfast is amazing.

I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to host our Vow Renewal here at Apples Bed and Breakfast. There are so many wonderful things to say about the staff, the place and our experience! Laurie the host is an amazing wedding planner. She went above and beyond our expectations. The staff was warm towards all of our guests and definitely provided excellent service. Their attention to detail was on point and a relief to know that I could relax a little knowing that I had their support. The rooms were so beautifully decorated and very very clean! All of our guests were in awe of the scenery, the beautiful home, the landscape everything made for a peaceful and picture perfect scenery. I would urge any bride to consider having Laurie host their special day. We will be back to visit for sure!

The place is good and cozy, wonderful breakfast, as long as you arrive PUNCTUALLY at 9:00 am! Coffee starts and ends at 9am. We were a little late and they didn't want to serve us breakfast, we only ate it because we insisted a lot, otherwise it was good.

This place is really adorable and clean. I love the cozy Victorian vibe it has and the amenities they offer. The staff is really nice and helpful, and they make sure everything is organized and kept up. I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before, and it made me consider looking at other bed and breakfast places when planning a trip instead of only looking at the mainstream hotels. The only reason why I gave it four stars is that when I was trying to go to sleep, I could hear other guests, such as their conversations and footsteps, because of the creaking floors and thin walls, which caused me to be up for the majority of the night. My favorite part was enjoying the warm fire in the living room while reading a book on the rocking chair.

Picturesque Victorian style build house that is a must-stay at bed and breakfast. Located in the main town of big bear, near the zoo, this amazing place makes you feel majestic. There is coffee and beverages included with your stay and yummy breakfast provided as well. We were greeted with homemade cookies upon arrival. We chose the jet powered jacuzzi room (only one available) with a cute little fireplace (gas powered). The dining hall is absolutely gorgeous! Would highly recommend a stay here if you visit.Rooms: Beautifully decorated and well maintained.

I photographed a wedding here in September and was so impressed! Apples is a fun, quirky, and beautiful place to have your wedding. Set in the pines with its contrasting signature vibrant pink paint and gorgeous landscaping, it borders the rathbun creek trail and gives you just about everything you could ask for. It's also centrally located in the Big Bear Valley which gives you easy access if you want to sneak away for sunset portraits somewhere off site. Highly recommended by me!

Apples is a humble gem among the pines! If you want a quaint place to relax and unwind, it is sweet. The room sizes vary, but all are cozy. The grounds are beautiful, and breakfasts are delicious. It is a great landing place for all Big Bear has to offer. And if you are a scrapbooker, it is perfect! There is some vehicle noise for rooms with windows on Moonridge (lots during ski season). You have to be prompt for breakfast at 9 am. Apples is magically lit up at night!Walkability: Beautiful paved trail behind the property and not far from shopping and Snow Summit. Gorgeous neighborhood across the street to walk through for exercise and enjoyment.
