My five star rating is due entirely thanks to Arianna. She was extremely helpful and made this experience exceptional for us.

We just did glow tubing and Arianna made our night! She was so amazing helping us check in and get the kids all tagged up. She really went above and beyond...we were about to leave because it was just such a handful getting through line with all the kids but she ran over and helped us through it all...she was absolutely amazing and made our experience exceptional!

Great tubing spot! Our 4 yr old had the best time.I think the speed of it surprised him...so maybe a flatter hill for first timers would be nice.Overall, easy to get up and down, parking is great and it's the perfect way to experience snow.

An extremely rude staff member made me turn my family of 8 around to go somewhere else. They're unorganized and because one of the other staff members failed to I've us zip ties they made us get out of the long line to get them. They wouldn't allow one of us to get the zip ties and come back which I just find extremely ridiculous.

Horrible experience. Staff non existent. No organization. Charge 6 year olds as adults.

Omgosh so much fun! This place offers tubing which was a lot of fun for our entire family of four. Gotta say it was also a lot more expensive than we expected but finally thought given the nice well maintained slopes and the magic carpet functionality that brings you up again, it was worth it. Definitely go early when they open - we went at 4.30pm to catch the 5pm night tubing and definitely worth it as we had the first 3-4 runs before it got super crowded.

Our experience at Big Bear Snow Play was a mixed bag. At $40 per person, the excitement for the kids was undeniable, yet it came with significant downsides. But as parents, you have to do it for your kids to see them smile and live a good childhood, The lines were exasperatingly long, stretching to about 2 hours, despite managing to slide down the slopes 4-5 times within 1.5 hours. While the children had a blast, it felt quite demanding. The moving walkway, designed for convenience, was intermittently non-operational, adding to the hassle. The process of signing waivers and purchasing tickets was convoluted, involving multiple lengthy lines. Arriving early seemed to be the norm, as the place quickly filled up by 11 am, resulting in parking woes and extensive queues. Surprisingly, the crowd thinned out around 2-3 pm, potentially making it a more favorable time for a less chaotic experience. In essence, the thrill of snow tubing was overshadowed by the overwhelming crowds and operational issues, making the overall adventure quite laborious, despite the kids' enjoyment. Consider visiting during off-peak hours to potentially alleviate some of the hassles and maximize the fun.

We took our daughter and grandchildren up for a little fun!! We had a really great time. Pros - 1. The staff is FANTASTIC! For whatever reason, people seem to not want to listen to them regarding safety issues. I never heard any staff say anything rude or unreasonable to anyone. Really nice, helpful people. Jason and Ariana were standouts the entire day!!2. The site itself! The hill is big enough to get a good ride on but not so big that it is scary.3. The magic carpet, very appropriately named. If it hadn't been there I would have walked up once and called it a day!4. The chicken strips, fries and hot chocolate were really good!Cons - 1. As to be expected, it was really crowded. That isn't such a big deal except for those who dont want to stand in line, their kids are throwing balls of ice, etc. But that is life with crowds. 2. The ropes course was closed because there wasn't enough staff. Likely they needed all the staff they had to control the ridiculous customers! If you want some snow fun, try this place. Just pack some extra patience, you are going to need it!!!

You stay for about one hour in Line just to sign a waiver...!!! then more time to buy your tickets...!!!! and then you are going to wait for your turn to slide down hill once every 20 minutes or 30 minutes...!!! So you are paying $45 for about 4 or 5 turns ?.they open at 10 AM in the morning and ends at 4:00PM ... then they start new Sessions from 4:00 pm -9:00 pm (must pay $45.00 again)

Second visit - it’s something to do in Big Bear, but it’s very expensive. They have a ton of workers but they don’t really do anything. People are slipping and falling on ice, cutting lines, and the top is completely unorganized. Most of the tubes are trashed and barely make it down the hill.If they would just mark or block off each lane at the top it would be a much better experience. And maybe throw some salt on the huge ice area that people are busting their heads on!

It's fun but very not organized, people are cutting lines, they don't care if kids slide on their own, they don't care if there is someone in the way when people are sliding. Half of the tubes are damaged or the handles are ripped.

31 January 2023I recently visited Big Bear Snow Play, anticipating a day full of fun and excitement. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped for. The organization of the facility was lacking, with little to no direction provided to visitors, leaving many, including myself, confused and frustrated. The pricing at Big Bear Snow Play is on the higher side, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the experience had matched the cost. However, the value for money here is questionable. The high cost, coupled with the disorganization, significantly diminished the overall enjoyment of the visit.A notable concern was the restroom facilities. The number of stalls available for both men and women was insufficient, leading to long waits and discomfort. For a place that attracts a significant number of visitors, this is a major oversight and something that needs urgent attention. In my opinion, Big Bear Snow Play is not worth the money. The lack of proper management and inadequate facilities greatly impacted the overall experience. I left feeling that my time and money could have been better spent elsewhere. For those considering a visit, I would suggest looking into other options where you might find better value and a more enjoyable experience.

Great time but gets really crowded so get there early! $45/adult for tubing from 10am to 4pm. It is a bit of a trek up the hill but there is an escalator that helps. There are 8 lanes total and 2 escalators, one on each side. It was a great time and the lines move fairly quick. There are safety crews everywhere. Very safe.

Went today and had multiple problems:1. They make you wait in 2 lines, one to sign a waiver and then another to purchase tickets. Why not combine them?? The waiver process took all of 30 seconds and it would be much more streamlined2. They grossly oversold tickets in my opinion. There were too many people and the lines took forever.3. Way too expensive, especially for young kids. We paid $45 for an adult and $30 for a toddler who had to go in the SAME TUBE4. Someone got hurt and was laying at the bottom of one of the runs and they closed like 3 of the 7 lanes so everyone who had waited 40 minutes now had to get back in line. Not saying this was their fault, but they didn't seem to have a good way of dealing with injuriesOverall, way too expensive, way too crowded, would not recommend at all. Spent like $130 just to go down 3 times. Super disappointed.

Honestly 1 star is too much! Nickel and dime to death. It's packed and getting more fuller! What doesn't make sense is they won't let you go onto the property if you're under 36inches ok, I completely understand, but what I don't understand is that they make you sign a waiver, for anything you do there, save your money! Go get a intertube from a car tire and pull over to the side of the road and have fun for free, then you can put your little ones on your lap and the whole family can have fun!
