Fair Prices, Knowledgeable, Friendly, Helpful a very professional. I was at Butcher True value hardware yesterday, with my son And we needed a long list of items which they had every single one and roofing material, which they had everything priced fairly. The store is very organized, huge piece of property and lots of inventory. The girls at the register are very kind and welcoming. Actually, the whole staff was very helpful. Each time I went to different section there was someone close by to To offer information. A staff member named Juan was also very helpful.

Typical Big Bear business. Way over priced, crap inventory, and make up their own hours.
I showed up at 2:20, doors are locked with a closed sign on the door. Website and front door say they close at 3.
Il spend the extra gas and go to home depot next time.

Workers are always busy and you have to wait with your questions. Not extremely friendly either. Unless they know you by name.

Really poor customer service would not recommend anyone this place. I told the employee up front on the register I needed some type of plywood and they look at me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. It seems as if no one there wants to work with how rude they are. I believe customer service is to imply your mannerisms and no one implied that here. Instead I got dirty looks and a bad experience. I wish them well in this local business.

We've always tried to buy from Butcher's Block because they're a local business but wow was a cashier with the initials MW rude--unbelievably rude. There's no excuse for her behavior. None. Retraining in customer service is needed for her. I hope management pays attention to the negative reviews just as much as them seem to be paying attention to the good ones. Both represent customers.

Really nice people here, they couldn't help me with anything to get my drone out of a tree but knew the perfect place that could. They were attentive and willing to help no matter what and that's hard to find now a days. Very appreciative of this place and these people. Made the weekend visit experience even better.
