Nick always does smog for me, as we tend to rotate through cars often. Nick is a wonderful man. He's very reasonably priced and does a great job, but besides a great shop owner, he always has a smile, always is game to chew the fat, had great stories to share, and it's all around a great human being.

Hero of the day! At 6am with a flat tire in front of the gas station - we ran into him. He was really kind and supportive. Help us immadetly with our flat motorbike tire, gave us helpful advises and in the end, he even gave us some snacks and a juice for the long way to LA, in case we have to stop somewhere again. Thank you so much! Just to let you know we reached our destination and catched our flight in the afternoon. In case we visit Big Bear again sometime - Beer on uns ;)

We caught two nails on our back tire on a Saturday. We are from out of town. Drove in on really.low tire preassure and was completely blown off by a man...not sure if owner. Couldn't even take a few seconds to look at us to answer simple question. Said he was too busy and brushed us off rudely. We quickly filled up w air at nearby gas station and rushed off to another mechanic nearby. See my review on them amd pictures below...completely different experience. We would have understood if the website mentioned appt only on Saturday something. A little empathy and common courtesy would go a long way.

I owned auto body shops and retired in Big Bear. Over the years I have dealt with many mechanics and not all experiences are good even with dealers.Nick is awesome. He is busy because he is awesome. He is worth the wait.

This guy is quite amazing when it comes to having an affair with a younger woman behind his wife's back. It's pretty cool because he has to hire her brother who rips him off but he keeps him working there so he won't say anything. We'll get to the other illegal stuff he does later on maybe another . This could be quite the little short story award-winning that's for sure if I tell you more about this guy.

Stopped in for gas to fuel up before heading home the next day. Nick's offers the cheapest gas prices for cash or credit users. They were busy every time we drove by.

Nick is one of the nicest, most honest mechanics I've dealt with. Both him and Stan are a pleasure to hang out with. I came in to smog one of my trucks w/o any notice & I came out learning a little bit more about my truck. I've been working on cars for 25+ years. Limp your car to them - they'll take care of you.
