Snow Summit is a renowned ski resort located in Southern California, founded by Tommi and Jo Tyndall in 1952. Known for its superior snowmaking capabilities, the resort is able to maintain the best snow conditions and longest season in the region, even without natural snowfall. In addition to its impressive snowmaking system, Snow Summit was also the first location on the West Coast to build a permanent in-ground halfpipe in 1983 and served as the host venue for the inaugural Winter X Games in 1997. While the resort is praised for its great facilities, including a variety of ski runs for all skill levels, some visitors have noted that the prices can be a bit high for what is offered. Additionally, the website has been described as "uncomfortable" when trying to make purchases, and the remote parking situation can be inconvenient, with long wait times for the shuttle. Overall, Snow Summit is a popular destination for both beginner and experienced skiers and snowboarders, offering a flexible and fun skiing experience in the heart of Southern California's beautiful mountains.
Everyone is super cool except for Nate the security guy. Hes rude and confrontational for absolutely no reason.

Love the mountain bike trails, even the shops and village at the bottom. It’s so easy to get your lift ticket and etc. I just the love snow summit, the views are insane, especially when the mountains have some snow on them.
