We had to stop here during our visit a few weeks ago and we found this to be a positive experience. Since it was late in the evening, there were very few people shopping making parking a breeze (it is a very large parking lot) and finding what we needed in moment with the assistance of super friendly staff members. The store was well stocked and clean and the staff made it a pleasure to shop at. Great place to shop at if in need – thank you.

Ok.when to the pharmacy today.and as usual.i heard the pharmacist tell the cashier that was waiting on me about being nice because I complained the other day about there service.and medication of mine.which been for a few years now.and every time I am there, because the medication is a narc.and when I explained to them about my pain management..but there at the pharmacy .no class especially the main pharmacist at Walgreens in big bear

Great service. Great people. I’ve been getting my prescriptions here for years and I’ve never had a problem. The pharmacists are so good! They care about your safety and will go out of their way to help in anyway they can. I’ll never go anywhere else.

The app for the digital coupons did not work and the manager wasn’t helpful about honoring them, go to cvs if you have the extra money!

I work up in big Bear California as a camp host at the Serrano Campground. I actually have my prescription at the CVS in big bear and was running very low and right now, There’s a fire going on up here and things are crazy. When I went to CVS to get my prescription they were closed, with a sign that said “ Closed with no ETA”. I was panicked because I had only a couple of days of my prescription left. So I called CVS in Temecula, which is where my home pharmacy is and ask them if I could transfer it to the Walgreens in big Bear they said that I could but it could take 2 to 3 hours for the transfer. I also had to call Walgreens and have them call the CVS in Temecula. I called Walgreens and spoke to Marlene who was the pharmacist, she was very kind, and I explained the situation to her and they were extremely shortstaffed there because of the fire and employees being evacuated from their homes. She said she would call CVS in Temecula and explain the situation about the fire and that I was low on my prescription. What could’ve taken 2 to 3 hours only took 20 minutes. She was very persistent with them and told them that I was low on my medication and there was a fire there and they weren’t sure if they were going to be open again The next day. With all that she was doing, she went above and beyond call of duty to make sure I can get my prescription. She is a wonderful employee, and Walgreens should be very happy to have her. I will recommend Walgreens to all my friends. I unfortunately cannot, change my pharmacy because of my insurance or I would. Thank you, Walgreens for being open during a very crazy time in big bear. And making sure your Customers have what they need during a disaster.

The pharmacy tech I spoke to tonight (Wednesday) was incredibly rude and hung up on me when I asked him a question about medication supply. My son has a disability and has taken the medication since he was 12. He said “Everyone and their mother wants this medication and we get 20 calls a day”. Then he hung up on me. I have filed a complaint with the store manager Sonya. Like the review done by Paul. My son is also a cancer patient and the pharmacy tech male was beyond rude

The store everyone is really nice but the reason I gave a 2 star because the pharmacy the Asian worker there is very rude he really needs people skills I would not suggest anyone to get there medicine from there try somewhere else I am a cancer patient and I don't need to be treated the way he does come on Walgreens you need to hire people that wants to help

Went into store to pickup OTC med and a few household items. Manager, Martha, who wasn't wearing ID badge, was not willing to help when her cashier "got mad at me" when I stopped her from putting a heavy item in a bag on top of light crushable items. After cashier raised her voice, shoved items off counter, and didn't apologise until after the manager was called, I remembered why I shop at CVS. This store needs a new manager who trains her employees how to treat customers and how to bag.

Glad that Walgreens is here. Folks working here are nice. But, CLEAN UP THE TRASH IN THE PARKING LOT AROUND THE STORE.

Yikes this is by far the worst Walgreens I’ve been too in a long time. My cashier was an older lady who had some sort of vendetta against me and my girlfriend. She was just rude right from the get go. She just grabbed the item I was putting on the counter out of my hand, not even a greeting or anything. My girlfriend kept asking if she did anything wrong to this lady because of how rude and cold she was. She also smelled like pee, like really bad. Maybe it was just the counter or something but it was so strong I just wanted to get out of there.

By far the worst walgreens in southern California. The staff will just sit there for an hour while you wait for them to call you up. They are extremely disrespectful. God forbid they mess up on your prescription. They will deflect and blame you for their mistakes. They will yell at you if your persistent because they never fill your script when they say. I had to come in 3 times over a week just to have to wait 30 minutes for them to finally fill my script. The worst part is you can't complain to corporate because they are just as bad. Horrible place to get your prescription so don't even dare come here. Unless you enjoy being belittled.Thank You
