About Arrowbear Music Camp
Arrowbear Music Camp is an intimate summer music camp located in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains, serving families since 1942. It is a fantastic and incredible camp that provides a wonderful, memorable experience each and every year for young musicians. The camp offers programs in orchestra, band, choral, jazz, and chamber music for campers ranging from ages eight to early college. It blends the camaraderie of a traditional sleepaway camp with inspiring musical instruction in a rustic environment. Campers hike, help with kitchen duties, hold multiple music practices a day, and can swim. They enjoy the experience and each other's company so much that they do not complain about leaving their phones at home. The friendly staff knows how to engage kids, foster camaraderie, and teach music excellently. Campers perform in a concert on the last day for parents. Many form strong friendships, with tears when saying goodbye. For many, it is a positive memory and a home away from home that they think about for years afterward.

i went here about 14-15 years ago and i still think about this camp all the time. it’s one of my only positive memories from childhood and i miss it so much. this is an incredible camp to send your children to. it was a home away from home.

My 12 year old son loves this place. We just picked him up yesterday from his 3rd annual summer camp. At every pickup, he and the other campers perform as an orchestra a few songs from different composers. They always performed excellently.
