About Glacier View Campground
Glacier View Campground is a pretty clean, cheap, and quiet place to stay for the night, offering a nice view of the eastern Sierras. It is a smaller park with good sized pitches, suitable for RVs including larger vehicles. Overnight rates are typically $20 to $25, with an extra cost for power hookups and for hot showers, which cost $2 each. Some visitors find the pricing seems kind of pricey. The campground has basic amenities including restrooms and showers. The bathrooms are generally clean and have flush toilets with hot water in the sinks, sometimes with a heater on at night. However, the shower stalls are frequently reported as absolutely disgusting and atrocious, with significant mold, though the shower machine provides hot water. The location is very convenient when pulling into town and is walkable or bikeable to local businesses. A significant drawback is its proximity to the highway, resulting in noticeable road noise and lights that can be distracting for sleep, especially for tent camping. The campground has a mix of short-term visitors and a few longer term residents, who are described as a bit strange but generally nice and keep to themselves. The camp host is often not in until evening but can be personable and helpful. The park seems very safe. It serves as an okay stop and a practical base for nearby activities like hiking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and visiting local restaurants.

Nice enough campground for $20/night, however the long term residents who stay there are a bit strange. Hot showers for $2 each, and bathrooms are clean.

Nice campsite – good sized pitches, flush toilets with hot water in the sinks. Seems kind of pricey at $20 per night and I wouldn't recommend for tent camping – you're so close to the highway, the noise and lights are distracting while you're trying to sleep!
