“Would absolutely recommend Bishop Automotive Center! After a few weeks into a big road trip, I noticed a big leak under my car and found these guys in Bishop. They immediately got me in even though they were so busy. Walter & Cam did an amazing job replacing my water pump and timing belt and I was able to get back on the road in less than week. Thanks Tyrell for squeezing me in and pushing to get everything done quick. 800 miles in and everything is still great. Thanks to Anthony who drove me to/from the hotel I had to stay at, everyone was so accommodating and the pricing was more than fair! Wish I had these guys back at home.”

“Our tires on our travel trailer had nails in them. We didn't even realize this while driving through Bishop on our way home to LA. It's 5 minutes before 6 pm and I called Juan at JS Automotive, he said he'd be right by... we were parked in a parking lot of a soccer field. Sure enough he showed up and he was so efficient and friendly and got our tires changed and fixed in no time at all. We've never met a nicer and kinder gentleman. He spent about an hour with us and when I asked him how much it was, he said $20. What??? There's no way we were just gonna give him that. Juan was our life saver tonight and I wish there were more honest good people like him in the world.”
“Grandson driving our Yukon from Washington to California. Of course, the transmission goes out. Jim Allen group assessed the problem accurately. Great service, timely, the Yukon was finished in a few days. Jim Allen did all the technical required checks. Well done!! Our grandson was able to move from California back to Washington safely with the new transmission.”
“Had the pleasure of speaking with Tim. He's a no nonsense kinda guy. Told me what was wrong, gave me a fair quote, and it was fixed. Having a Vanagon, there aren't many experts around. They know their VW stuff, I couldn't even stump them and I've been doin this 35 years. You explain to me how to 'lap valves' after doing 'head work' on over a half million mile Vanagon.. I tried to keep up. I swear. But the ole girl was tired. And she feels amazing after the refresh. If you enjoy Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, bmw etc German stuff. Just swing by. The guy just knows things.”

“Well was stranded last night in bishop. Ac compressor clutch took a dump on me and was grinding metal down. Stuck 260 miles from home I called A&L the next morning after 2 other shops told me they were 2 weeks out and couldn't help. The nice lady who answered told me to come in maybe they could look at it. The owner had 1 of his mech take a look. Fortunately the ac compressor has its own belt and he told me I could cut belt to compressor and the car would run fine. He went back into shop and got cutters and removed it. Had me start car to make sure that was the only thing and it ran well. He got me on my way home. A tow home would have cost me over $1500. Replacing clutch would have taken days to get parts to bishop. Thank you A&L. I am so grateful for your assistance . Next time I come through bishop I'm gonna drop of breakfast for the crew. See ya for fall fishing.”

“Been broken down in bishop for days can't seem to get anyone to make another key so can't get the car fixed.... shop was nice enough to let me stay in my car next to shop till I can get a tow truck to tow me back to p town... the little things in life as simple as being able to stay in my car till I figure it out without getting yelled at and kicked out means lots. Strange town yet very nice workers here.”
