Good Lord! How bad can things get? I just left that hell hole. A simple fecal floatation test turned into a nightmare. I left a sample with reception on Friday. She said it would take until Tu to get the results. I had already made an appointment for Monday. So we cancelled it. This was all discussed ahead of time and agreed to. I called on Tu and was on hold for over 20 min so I went bye. The absolute shrew of a receptionist started giving me really heavy attitude right out of the gate. I asked her to put her attitude aside so we could talk and she just got worse. She told me I didn't show up for my appointment on Monday. I told her the other receptionist cancelled it on Fri. She said no she didn't. I assured her we did. But she wouldn't budge with her bad attitude. So I started giving it back to her. Honestly people, we need to start sticking up for ourselves. There is no reason to accept being treated rudely by b tchy receptionists. She even threatened to call the police but settled for calling a manager and the doctor. They came out and jumped right on her side. Also, the test was a sham. The sample I dropped off was loaded with worms and the test came back negative. Veterinary care has become sinful. I don't know what we animal owners are to do...

Everyone at Bishop Veterinary hospital are warm, kind and compassionate people. We've taken our dogs there for the past 5 years for treatment and boarding. When we had to put our dogs down it could not have been handled any better. If you have pets, this is the place to go.

This vet is money hungry and detached from the animals they're providing for, the only exception being doctor Ludwick. Don't go here if you're planning on using the CareCredits financing options because they only offer 6 months to pay it back, which they don't tell you. I'd rather drive to Reno or Lancaster for my pets care.

Bishop veterinary hospital saved our goldendoodles life! We were passing Ridgecrest when we noticed our dog had eaten 35 pieces of gum with xylitol- this was a toxic and life threatening amount. We called at 1030 pm on the emergency line and we're advised to find the closest store with hydrogen peroxide, Walmart was about 18 miles back, so we rushed to get there before it closed at 11:00pm, we induced vomiting and got all of the gum out of his stomach. The vet still met us at 1:00am at the office to test and ensure he was not hypoglycemic or in liver failure. It was so easy to get help (we talked to the vet 4 times while freaking out!) , a quick visit in for reassurance. We owe everything to this vet!! So thankful

September 3 2022 Grouch was attacked by a dog. Bishop vet is 2 hours away and the closest to me. This happened very early morning when it was still dark outside, so while trying to find someone to drive me there , we were able to stop the bleeding and Grouch was in a position where he was able to breath okay. I called first letting them know I was on my way. They said ok they were open and bring him in. So I brought him there.Upon arriving they brought him straight to the back and said they would do xrays and would call me in a few hours. I stayed in the area.Dr. K called me several hours later and discussed Grouchs arthritis and heart murmur which I already was aware of. My concern were the injuries. She mentioned that he would need surgery because she didn't know if he was bleeding internally. That it would be risky because of the murmur. With no surgery he would die so should she just euthanize him. I was adamant that he have the surgery. At least there would be a chance. I went back to the office immediately and they told me that even with a 650 deposit Dr.Milaci , one of the owners told them on the telephone twice that even with that they wouldn't do the surgery. I was told to wait so they could put an estimate together. Meanwhile Dr. K was going into all the rooms filled with other patients. After 2 hours of waiting for the estimate I started getting upset so they let me go in the back to see Grouch. It was now hours that Grouch had been there Unprofessional, unethical and cruelty is what they're about. Grouch was just laying there Bleeding and now difficulty breathing. No IV, wounds still open, no surgery NOTHING!! They gave him a pain shot and did xrays in the morningwhen he arrived. That was it.I began to make a scene and video tape. Then everyone was listening and called the owner. After speaking with this selfish, money hungry lady she agreed to the surgery with the deposit but said when and if grouch is ready to go home, I wouldn't be able to pick him up until balance for the surgery was paid in full. OK. Still no estimate on anything. At this time people were calling in donations in which I was told the girls in the front were really rude. I asked to see Grouch again before leaving but Susie in the front said no because she said he was already he was already in surgery. Don't know how because the only Dr there was running around still seeing other patients. I figured maybe they were prepping him.Upon getting home 3 hours later I phoned the vet to see how the surgery went. I told her I figured she couldn't reach me because sometimes there's no reception. She said no, she hadn't tried calling me yet but Grouch died. Then mentioned his leg was mangled and the entire day after she read the x-rays never mentioned that. I called the vets office on Tuesday when the office reopened asking where my estimate was. Still no bill or estimate. Then she emails me a bill for 535 for pain meds. x-rays, visit and cleaning of wound ( supposedly). I called back and said I gave 650 and where's the invoice for the surgery. Then I received another bill with the remaining 115 payment and invoice for additional 460 for pain meds, IV, anesthesia and for closing laceration. No surgery !!! Not even any of the donations phoned in were added into the invoice. When I left there at 430 pm no IV, no lacerations fixed and no surgery but anesthesia is on the bill. Also no record of the donations called in. I left a msg. for the other owner and still no call back. Finally on Wed I received a call from the other owner Dr. Ludwick. It didn't go well because the conversation started with him saying he knows what happened and I'm not to say anything negative to him about his staff or vets because he will get angry. That made me even more agitated. I went back with him yeah well what about me, I'm already angry you're staff let my dog sit there 7 to 8 hours untreated. He said the vet suggested euthanasia but I rejected it. Yeah I did, try to save him. So that gives them the right to l

There needs to be negative stars.DO NOT USE THIS CLINIC! THEY LEFT A CRITICAL PET DIE IN THEIR CARE LAST WEEKEND. I called to make a donation towards the needed surgery and the girl was very rude. They refused to save the dog until the bill was paid in full!! How can you pay a bill when A...you never received an estimate and B. How can they possibly know exactly what it will cost to save him!!!In the words of the rescue who lost their baby to this cruel clinic.Just got off the phone with the owner of the animal hospital. It didn't go well because the conversation started with him saying he knows what happened and I'm not to say anything negative to him about his staff or vets because he will get angry. That made me even more aggravated. I'm already angry your staff let my dog sit there 7 to 8 hours untreated!! He said the vet suggested euthanasia but I rejected it. Yeah I did, try to save him!!! So that gives them the right to leave him lay there making his condition worse and not doing a thing! His excuse was they were packed and he's low on staff. There were 3 receptionists there, about 6 techs and 1 Dr. He said he cant change anything because grouch is gone. They are unethical, unprofessional, cruel to animals and money hungry vultures.

So thankful for Bishop Veterinary Hospital seeing our pup during emergency hours! It wasn't exactly how we planned on spending our 4th of July with our chocolate Lab, Chance. The on-call doctor was very nice and helpful. We got our meds quick, our baby is feeling better and now we can enjoy the rest of our vacation :) Thanks again Chance

I just had my ancient rescue cat, Ruthie, put to sleep after a valiant struggle with renal failure. I am so grateful for the gentle and compassionate care she received this morning from Dr. Milici and the staff. Thank you for being there for me and my pets for over 40 years.
