When I was in need of Stainless Steel fasteners I found Manor True Value Hardware to be approximately 10% less expensive than High Country Lumber, or High Priced Hardware if you prefer. I know they were the exact same fasteners as both stores were restocked on the same day.

Has a lot of stuff packed into their store, can find just about anything you might need. Prices range from fairly good to sometimes pricey, so it just depends. I will usually call for a price and see how it compares to the hardware store at the other side of town. I tend to use both, depending on my needs and the price.

I need a screen repaired for my 5th wheel. Dan did this within an hour as I ran other errands in town. Wow, beautiful job thank you! I really love this store. They are always helpful with knowledgeable employees on what seems like every aisle. Thanks for your wonderful small town service.

It’s a cozy, old-time store with all sorts of cool stuff. Have ordered two or three tons of pellets a year from them for at least fifteen years. Five stars for pellet delivery and stacking and super helpful on other stuff.Don’t count on them to clean your pellet stove (and/or fireplaces) unless you bought the stove from them. Too busy. Made an appointment two years ago to get ours cleaned and waited. Checked in periodically and was finally informed that unless we bought the stove there, it was a no go. My late husband bought our stove in 1995 from Bishop Woodstove, at 187 W line Street, long out of business. They recommended Sierra Stove. I tried them in the past since the new owner purchased the stove business from my old chimney sweep when he moved to Maui to start a catering truck business. Always went to voice mail. Years later, finally, got a hold of the guy, made an appointment, but he was a no-show. Called him. Nice guy and happy to make another appointment, but I'd already called Alpine Stove of Mammoth Lakes. Quite fortuitously, I happened to see one of their trucks in Bishop across the street from my business. They answered the phone and made an appointment for the following Monday at 10:30. The way service should be and the kind of service that we just don't get here in Bishop. Arrived when they say they would and got the job done. Professional.

i worked there almost 5 years and it may seem ok but under the surface is a highly abusive owner. for 4 of the 5 years he has been gaslighting me. he is verbally and mentally abusive. even physically if you count the times where he purposely bumped into me to push me out of the way. i was thinking about suicide until i finally decided to leave. i am recovering now. i was really driven into the ground
