Merrel Smog is a great place to bring your vehicle. I’ve been taking my truck here for years—my dad brings his truck, and we also bring our business van and my wife’s car for oil changes, brake jobs, and smog checks.
They always do the right thing. We had a small issue once where a seal got damaged during a repair—not a big deal—and they took care of it right away with honesty and professionalism.

“I took my car here 3 months ago for an alignment. It was easy to make an appointment and once I was there, they were quick and efficient. The customer service was great by the gentleman at the counter. Unfortunately, I got into an accident and hit a couple of coyotes at once a couple of weeks ago. I thought I'd better bring the car back in case the alignment was off. Brake Masters was so friendly and accommodating. Although, it was 3 months ago when I first came in, I spoke to Josue on the phone and he said they'd check the alignment for me and do any service for the car if necessary and to just come on in. That eased my mind and a couple of days later, I arrived. Josue and the other gentleman (who helped me previously at my first visit) welcomed me and made sure I was taken care of. They are very friendly and so helpful there at Brake Masters and have great customer service. Thanks to them my car is good again and back on the road!”

“I was so lucky to have found A1on my way back home from Big Bear to Los Angeles. I have run flat tires and got a warning that the pressure was low on one of my tire right when I got off the 330. It was already past 6 PM and I didn't want to drive more than 80 miles on my run flat. I stopped by A1 and even tough they were already closed, they helped me out, patched the tire so I could make it home! Great customer service!”

“Woke up with low air pressure in my rear tire, come to find out I had a screw in my tire and I was losing air quick, So I went down to the tire shop. Excellent service great friendly people everybody there seem to be enjoying themselves having a great time definitely giving them my business again.”

“I had to return to this location when a new service provider informed me that the oil drain plug had been stripped and they were unable to remove it. When I returned, they were very concerned and apologized for the inconvenience caused by the problem. They fixed the problem and changed my oil and oil filter at no charge to make up for the inconvenience. Due to this exceptional service, I wouldn't hesitate to return to this location.”

“1st session, Prostop replaced thermostat and leaking hose that was causing my ride to overheat. They did an awesome job fixing and explained in detail what was wrong and what was replaced. A few days later for the 2nd sesh, they hooked up my brakes ,rotors and replaced a busted lug nut. All around great experience, great customer service and honest mechanics. Thank you prostop . I highly recommend and I will definitely be coming in for future repairs.”
“I gave this shop a chance because it was on my route home. I was assisted quite fast despite having multiple customers already at the shop. I didn't get the woman's name but she was very informative regarding the average prices for Infiniti tires. She was also really nice, it can be intimidating going to tire shops or mechanics.
The tire change was quite fast and attentive, I will have to come back to this shop ?”
