Merrel Smog is a great place to bring your vehicle. I’ve been taking my truck here for years—my dad brings his truck, and we also bring our business van and my wife’s car for oil changes, brake jobs, and smog checks.
They always do the right thing. We had a small issue once where a seal got damaged during a repair—not a big deal—and they took care of it right away with honesty and professionalism.
As a business owner myself, I know how hard it can be to run a company and still do things the right way. I really appreciate that there are shops like Merrel Smog Check & Repair that operate with integrity. Highly recommend!”

Had a great experience at American Tire. I brought my tire in yesterday to have it patched, and they took care of it quickly and professionally. Best of all, there was no charge because the tire was covered by their lifetime warranty. I really appreciate the honest service and standing behind their warranty. “So I bought a car with a bunch of issues. That was my mistake.
I brought the car in to top dawg auto repair and they quoted me within a couple hours. They started the work yesterday late in the afternoon and had it finished by today.
I was worried about putting more repair costs into the vehicle than it was worth, but for me, it was better than buying another car.
So a bunch of work needed to be done that might never have been done before for a vehicle with ~135k miles. This contributed heavily to my costs.
However, Top Dawg made a tremendous effort to keep my quote at around the same price, even though there were additional issues that were left off the initial quote (new tires and alignment). Probably saved me at least $500 from what they would have charged me. Solid dudes. Would happily bring my car back.”

“God put this exceptional shop in my path I recommend pro trans for all your mechanical needs not only because they are extremely knowledgeable BUT for their honesty. I went to Aamco and they wanted to rebuild my transmission I decided to get a second opinion & god sent me here they took care of the problem without the transmission rebuild because it was not needed. “I got a nail in one of my tires and needed to get it fixed quickly I called ahead to see if they had availability , the manager Mr. Andre (THE ABSOLUTE BEST) picked up the phone and you can just tell that he LOVES HIS JOB! I had expressed my concern about the nail in my tire and he told me to come right on in and they would be able to take a look at it and let me know what my next step was ! When arriving everyone was so nice and very helpful. Mr.Andre remembered me from the call and they helped us right away. “I was so lucky to have found A1on my way back home from Big Bear to Los Angeles. I have run flat tires and got a warning that the pressure was low on one of my tire right when I got off the 330. It was already past 6 PM and I didn't want to drive more than 80 miles on my run flat. I stopped by A1 and even tough they were already closed, they helped me out, patched the tire so I could make it home! Great customer service!”

“COME HERE TO GET A QUOTE!!! This place is honest, reliable, great price and quick. The owner, Adnan, goes above and beyond.
Another mechanic down the street quoted me $5k and would take about 5 days to do the job. This place charged me $3800 and the job was done in 2 days. This was for a water pump leak on a Lincoln.
I will be returning for all my car service needs!

“Couldn’t be happier with the services I’ve had done at McNair’s!! We’ve taken my wife’s car in twice, for two separate issues, and the staff/mechanics have resolved the issue both times. Each time, they were very friendly and communicative through the process! The first time was a battery replacement. After AAA told my wife her battery was fine, we took it to McNair’s because we weren’t sure what the issue was. Turns out it was the battery, and McNair’s was able to replace it the same day for a reasonable price! The next issue was my wife’s tire losing air. They assessed the situation, and called us to inform us that they weren’t able to repair the damage, and that they had some replacement tires in stock and ready to be installed! Couldn’t be happier with the service both times, and I’ll for sure be taking our cars back in if the need arises!”
