When my motorhome broke down near Blythe with a wrecked differential (which also damaged the rear axles) I thought such major problems would require a very expensive tow to a big city repair facility. I had it towed to Mead automotive and am so glad I did. Not only did Hamp and his crew complete these very major repairs right the first time they also took on several RV repairs, including sealing a leaking roof that had been unsuccessfully attempted by three other facilities in the past year.On top of Hamp’s skills, Lorie went above and beyond dealing with supply chain issues to obtain the needed parts and also working tirelessly with the vehicle’s extended warranty company to obtain compensation. They keep me well updated on the complex process of the vehicle repair and charged very fair prices. Best of all the vehicle runs great, all repairs were done perfectly and the roof finally doesn’t leak!I can’t recommend Mead Automotive enough, I am so grateful for their help.”

“I drive a 2020 jeep gladiator so I called to make sure they had an oil filter. The gentleman said no problem and I replied that I will be right there. I pulled up and they took me right in. The service was better than any Jiffy Lube. They vacuumed the front floor mats, checked the air in my tires, washed all my windows, checked my air cleaner: great service and they did all of this with a smile on their face. I would definitely go back.”
“I went in for a check engine light on and Matthew provided the best customer service. He is honest, efficient and kind. He dropped us off within 15 minutes of arrival and fixed my car within 3 hours and picked us up to get our vehicle out of the shop. “Our motorhome broke down on I-10 and it was 113 degrees out. We were lucky enough to find a local tow company in Blythe who got our disabled RV to Empire Cat in Blythe.
First I want to give a huge thank you to Stacey, who was on emergency call for the weekend. She arranged for a technician to meet the tow truck driver at their shop and allowed us to put our RV inside their yard for the weekend. Even let us plug in to power so we could keep refrigerator cold for the weekend. She was very helpful and kept in touch with us while waiting on tow truck.
They got on our motorhome first thing Monday morning and had the issue resolved in a few hours. Can’t thank everyone at Empire Cat for everything they did to get us back on the road again. Thank you to the technician who came out on a hot Saturday afternoon, to let us in the gate and made sure we were all plugged in and to the awesome mechanic who found and resolved the problem in such a timely manner. Would recommend them to anyone needing repairs on their RV if ever in the area!”

2015 Jeep Wrangler overheated. AAA got me a tow to Echard's Desert Radiator.
Joe, the owner is not only a good guy but he knew what he was doing.
He immediately recognized what the issue was. He still gave it a good look and checked it thoroughly. It indeed turned out to be exactly what he thought it was gonna be. He got the parts, did the work, took her for a hard drive to test the work, and got us back on the road in short order.
He is a delightful proud family man and business owner. He shared some fishing storie too! All while he worked. He's been at this location for over 3 decades!
The service we received and work that Joe did, are not only uncommon but almost unheard of these day.
He may be the only game in town, but with Joe at the helm, it's the only one you need and best around.
I would recommend a stop with Joe at Echard's Desert Radiator to check your car on your way through to the hottest parts of our country. The southwest desert is no joke.
We were on our way about 2 hours after we got to Joe's. He was also quite reasonable with his fee! 💯

Same day @ 3 hours later...
Joe called us up to check how the car was holding up. We were just past Phoenix and had the air on full blast in 121⁰ weather going strong!

“A total stranger in town, ( elderly & visibly handicapped woman), I had a flat tire in the parking area of this store. Though this is not a tire repair shop the manager (I think) assisted by using a contraption to temporarily inflate my tire, directed me to a nearby tire repair shop, & refused any payment.Pay it forward when you can ? appears to be his mantra. Thank you.”
“My 2013 f350 needed a lot of front-end work. I got my estimate, but when they did the work it was over $700 dollars less. It took them less hours to repair my truck and passed the saving on to me. They got my truck in and repaired it a timely manner.”

“Great experience! Traveling van life YouTuber from CA but in AZ for the winter. Needed smog for re-registration, oil change and tire rotation. Made an appointment by phone and they were able to do everything in one visit! Super nice folks, Esperanza and Nahuel were very accommodating and helpful. I asked if they could help me out with installation of a hitch receiver I purchased elsewhere and they said they could. I highly recommend them!”
