We always enjoy staying at the Bodega Harbor Inn. The cottages feel like a cozy little home . The location is not ocean view but it's very close to the bodegas trailhead and to the turn off to the town of bodegas

Pro's - Good location, lawn chairs that look out to the water, gentleman and his dog that live/work at check in desk are very friendly. Relatively affordable for Bodega BayCon's - Very dated rooms, small, old, thin walls and I am almost 6 ft tall and if stood on my tip toes I would hit the ceiling in the shower and its literally probably 2 ft x 2 ft. old TV's

One star for cleanliness bc it is clean but the room has all the ambiance of a prison cell. The bed is as hard as the floor and my back was out after a few hours watching the cheapest cable package imaginable. They say they are open until 9 pm but when I went to use the microwave (only one in office not room) at 8:15 they were closed. The frig is small and it's Jerry rigged so you have to unplug it to use the coffee maker in the am. This place is highway robbery for the cheapest room at 170$ w tax. Skip it if you at all care about amenities or your body aches after a night on the rack.

This was a delightful place to stay. I was alone and the room suited me very well. It also would have worked for 2 people, but it would have been cozy. The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and efficient. The room was very clean and comfortable. It had plenty of light, which I really like when traveling. There's nothing worse than a dark hotel room!!!The only downside was the tile floor. It felt slippery while I was walking around in my walking shoes. I always travel with slipper socks which have gripps on the bottom and those made me feel much more secure. I had dinner at La Bodeguita and it was excellent. The shrimp burrito was very flavorful and was a generous size. Good value for the price. As for the price of the room at Bodega Harbor Inn, I felt it was a bit overpriced, but I'm sure it's due to the fact that you're in Bodega Bay.

This place is awesome. George runs this place and works the front counter. Proves are good runs are clean and consistent. Walking distance to restaurants and Lottie grocery store and south shack. The lawn area is lined with Adirondack chairs that overlook the bay. This last time I was there the weather was clear and calm and the bay was unusually calm. This is a bit rare for Bodega so this was very nice. Perfect weather for hiking around the heads and from the hills behind Bodega I bushwhacked up the tallest hill I could see. From up there there was a beautiful clear view of Bodega Bay, Tomales Bay, and you could also see Point Reyes. Check out the panoramic photo.

Cozy small but very clean rooms with peaceful outdoor seating areas to read and have a nice glass of wine. Check in was easy and the host was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for local beaches. Babe the welcome dog was the highlight of my check in experience. The inn was walking distances to several restaurants (get the clam chowder at Boat House) and markets for quick bites (I got canned wine and charcuterie at Diekmann’s Market. Great spot for a weekend getaway like mine.Nearby activities: Short drive to many great beaches (my favorites were Salmon Creek and Goat Rock beaches). Great to watch the sunsets

Great place to stay in Bodega. On the small side but comfortable, clean and dog friendly. Super nice people taking care of the place and there is a grocery within a very short walking distance. They have BBQs for use and a view of the water.

Stay here!! Great location, super cute and clean! George was friendly and knowledgeable and made my mom and I feel right at home from the moment we checked in. The back lawn area is perfect for watching the sunset over the water and listening to the sea birds and sea lions. We stayed in room 5 with two double beds. Fun sea themed decor, very clean and perfect for our trip. I would highly recommend staying here for your next costal outing!

At first sight the room looked okay for the funky little place it was. The gravel parking lot was uncomfortable as I was on a motorcycle. The door to my room was standing open and I discovered it was difficult to close because the bottom of the door was not able to clear a high spot on the floor. No air conditioning while probably not a problem most of the time was missed on this warm day. The floor looked okay, but I later discovered my feet and sox were black from the floor apparently mopped with a dirty mop. The worse housekeeping I have encountered. Add to that they did not have ice and you have less than a happy visitor. Summing up..... Way over priced. Location marginal. Poor housekeeping. Blinds and no drapes would allow anyone to look into the room at night. Certainly a never again property for me!
