“I wish the rooms are not using carpets and the showers are not on top of a bath tub. Otherwise it’s a super wonderful place to be. It has a lovely fire pit facing the ocean really cozy to sit around. It also has a heated pool and a fire pit near the pool. Rooms are quite large with balconies facing the ocean.”

“Me and wife were searching for a quiet staycation and we came across an article about Marin county. We were happy to choose Tomales Hotel as our stay since this was a good base to explore so many neighboring places - Dillon beach, scenic drive by the Tomales Bay with Tony's Seafood restaurant, Nick's Cove cafe and we also discovered some hidden beaches enroute. The town itself is so friendly with its General Store, Historic museum and a lovely Route 1 cafe that opens really early at 7.30am. Hotel was clean and welcoming with all the amenities including a shareable Microwave and a coffee/Tea machine. Definitely going to be back soon.”
“I come here at least once a year and love it. The accommodations are perfect size, clean, cozy, beautiful and one minute from the beach. The staff has been consistent, which is always a good sign. The are very helpful and nice.”

“What an incredible little inn! I stopped here for a night on my way to SF. The room was clean, cozy, and quiet. I enjoyed the nautical theme. I would highly recommend to anyone passing through or looking to enjoy the surrounding area. Will be staying here again!”

“Birthday dinner! Had rib eye, mash potatoes, veggies, cake/ ice cream. All were fabulous. Susan the pianist and the entire were all fantastic. Great intimate location with vista view of the bay.”

“Quiet and peaceful. The staff was very friendly and our mountain side room was very comfortable with a giant bed, heated floors and a fireplace.
The pool is small but was nice to swim in and relax around. Spa was wonderfully relaxing.
Breakfast was included in an upscale dining room with coffee, juice, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit and toast or bagels.
We will be back!”
