We broke down in a parking lot right next to the shop late at night. AAA was no help, so we spent the night in the lot and walked over to the shop in the morning. We explained the issue to the owner, and on the spot, without hesitation, he walked over to our van, found the problem right away, told us what needed to be replaced, and showed us a trick to start our van in the meantime. No appointment, no fee, just a super friendly, knowledgeable mechanic willing to help some stranded travelers.
