This branch is very awful with any service. I normally don't do any bad review. However this time is the fourth consecutive time that I came and only 1 window open for the service. Last time the system was down. I would give no star for this branch.

They lost my safety deposit box. I opened a safety deposit box here about 7 years ago. Annual fee is deducted from savings every July. I showed up today with my key, and employee #1 tells me that I don't have a safety deposit box. It gets escalated to employee #2, that also looks for 5-10 mins, and tells me that I don't have a safety deposit box. My tone changed to unfavorable.... I show her (again) the key. She goes away for 20-30 minutes, and returns with the paperwork from when I first got the box. My key (with the box# stamped on it) worked. Everything is drama with BoA. I terminated the box today, and closed my account.

I had an appt to open a new acct. As I was waiting, Billie Chavez took my appointment as she was available. She was incredibly courteous, helpful, and efficient. I had my new acct established, and her service was so outstanding that I am now thinking of moving my business acct over from another big bank. Thanks again, Billie!

If you need any kind of support, make time to go in person because over the last 3 years, nobody has ever bothered to answer the phone.

The service in this location is getting worse by months. With four windows currently open (closed two after remodeling), there is often only one employee working, which leaves a long waiting line all the time. Besides that, even if you made an appointment online, there is no one to check you in and you still have to seat there waiting for a long time before anyone asks why you are there. My personal longest wait was over 30 minutes with an appointment without anyone asking me anything. I had to leave after the long wait since I had other appointments somewhere else and didn't know how long I still needed to wait. Aren't they supposed to have an appointment schedule to see who scheduled for what? If so, they should at least come out and apologize if they have any delays and give other an option of continue to wait or reschedule.It's very disappointing to see a bank with such poor services.

I have mixed feelings at this bank. Oscar is fabulous. I love dealing with him. On the other hand things are not so great. I went in to make a transfer from one of my accounts that I froze because It was hacked. Oscar had to call the fraud department to accomplish this. The fraud department put us on hold for 57 minutes. We're were sitting in the office just waiting for someone to answer the phone. Poor Oscar was embarrassed but there was nothing he could do. Finally someone answered the phone and it took less then 5 minutes. Ridiculous. I have been hacked 3 times and have had to close my accounts . I had to transfer all my automatic payments and get new checks. Such a pain. I think it might be time to change banks after 32 years. I asked how to stop the hacking and was told to switch banks

Understaffed and extremely inefficient. I have to go to this branch every month to pay rent and I constantly brace myself for a long, and poor experience.

Went to this branch today because I was having issues setting up online bill pay. All I wanted was for someone to tell me the "STATUS" of my account. A man walked out of his office and saw me looking around and asked me if I needed help. I started explaining, but before I could get to the "What I need is" part, he abruptly interrupted me to say that they can't help at all, they're not allowed to touch my phone, there's nothing they could do there to help. "You can only get help via phone." I explained I had called & spoken to someone multiple times - so if they can't help, and I can't get help with my BOA account AT BOA, then who helps!! He said, yeah, well, Idk and walked away. I decided to stand in line and just ask the question to a teller! One of them saw I was next, shut her window and walked away. the young lady who did help me was very kind and helpful. While she couldn't tell me what the problem WAS...She did help with what it WASN'T!! I was able THEN to call Customer Service & get the issue fixed.. long story, I know. except for the 1 nice person who was working today, it was awful!! I wanted to go on record and say, the guy was rude, snippy & unprofessional!! All he had to do was listen for about 30 sec or so... but he was too important I'm guessing, to be bothered. It's all good. Lesson learned. I'll not go back to this branch!!

BOA Bonita Road -After multiple attempting to go into this bank (Closed). I finally was able to catch them open. I asked the Teller what did I need to do to close my savings account he said withdraw all of the money. I asked is that it he confirmed yes. I received my statement with a -$8 (service fee) because the account was not closed! How about training your employees.

If you are looking for a bank that will disrespect and belittle you, BOA in Bonita is the place and ask for Manuel, he is vacuous. Unfortunately he wasn't the only employee there lacking scruples. I called Customer Service to inquire if my husband and I needed an appointment in order to add him to my account, and the representative reassured me I did not. I entered the bank at 3:35pm (closes at 4pm) and the teller and manager insisted I needed an appointment so I informed them I called before coming in. They asked for my ID and debit card and then implied I was lying because my account did not display notes about my call. Subsequently, Manuel engages in immature behavior towards my husband and me. He smirked and began to mimick our words. I was appalled by his behavior and more disturbing that his coworkers remained silent. Let me tell you all this took place when there was no one waiting. Manuel stated at 3:50 he could not help us because he closed his station and he waived his hand that he was done (even used hand gestures). We walked out at 4:10pm. Unbelievable they chose not to help us. Eastlake BOA is our bank now!!!

Used drive thru atm on 07/08/21, be careful as their atm machine was compromised and someone was able to withdraw over $800 from my account on 07/10/21. Walk inside when using atm!

I like this location since there is normally not a lot of people like the Chula Vista locations. The service is very nice but the problem is there are normally just 1 teller helping the entire line. So if there is like only 5 people waiting in line it can take 10-20 mins if they have multiple transactions. Even with employees just standing around asking what your doing today? What am I doing today? I'm wondering why your not behind the window helping expedite the line. Lol.
