“Be careful driving around here. A typical outlet mall. There are some pretty good deals. It has a lot of duty free stores as it’s close to the border. People do not pay attention as they cross the street. Neither do cars. Parking can get a little tricky but there is plenty on the backside where you can see the border wall.”

I can honestly say we felt very safe walking around at night, not once during the day or night did we encounter any problems with the homeless.”
“I very much like this shopping center. It has all the stores I like, plus more. There is TJ-Max, a Sprouts, and a Trader Joe's here. The center is visually pleasant, but parking can be challenging at peak hours.”
“The customer service was outstanding, and the room was spacious and furnished nicely. I was initially worried because my room was close to the outdoor cantina on the property, but I didn't hear any of the action going on. The room included a good breakfast and the location is conveniently located so you can shop, eat or explore easily.”
“Great time to explore the nicest view of San Diego city on the water, from Coronado to downtown, and I am on the other side today, $8 for one way ticket, you can buy with the kiosk or online, both works, parking might be tricky as it shares with other businesses in the area, so you only get 2 hours free, then paid after, or get fined. Recommend for any occasions.”
“This center had been declining a while back, with the closing of Sears and other stores. It is much better, especially with the various choices of restaurants (both sit-down and fast food). Macy's and JC Penney also help it keep going. Construction is in progress where Sears used to be. Have heard it's going to be housing. If so, it would probably infuse the center with some "new life."”
“I like the Ralph's here, and having CVS in the same parking lot, plus so close to the hospital, is a real bonus. The parking lot can be a little treacherous, though; people go though it too fast.This Ralph's has good produce, lots of markdowns and quality clearance stuff, plus excellent cheeses and a well-stocked wine and spirits department.”
“Very helpful staff and they have a wide category of stuff for smoke and novelty,in fact I went thru many to look for a glass for SMOK vape and four of them did have until I hit this spot, this is my favorite for shopping, and know secure they have what I'm looking for. “Basically, this building served as a jail for the arrested enemy's army or civilian persons during WW-II ( 1939- onwards).Later on, this was commercialised to rent out for a number of restaurants or shops, such as Cheese factory, Puesto, Starbucks, etc. Cells and police exhibits area is currently closed for the public. A strategic location from tourists point of view.”
“Gateway Marketplace is an all-in-one complete shopping center. The plaza is attractively arranged with just the right mix of shops to do all your shopping in one place. There's Ross, Michael's, Aldi's, At&t, and McDonald's to buy from and get yourself a bite before leaving for home in addition to being well-maintained and clean. This is a nice plaza to shop in; I would recommend this plaza to anyone who enjoys shopping.”
“Good service. Amazing environment. Even the homeless people keep to themselves. Caters to the rich(LV, Rolex, Tiffany and Co) and the people like me who are afraid to go into those stores with your wife and teenage daughter(Nike,Garage,Foot Locker, PacSun) Good Blend for everyone! “I go regularly because the money orders at Vons are still only ninety-nine cents, but there are other great places nearby. It is located in a residential area with schools, so it feels relatively safe for a senior citizen like myself!”

“You must have exchanged privileges to shop here and if you do it's a great benefit you should be using it. Great savings are available here if you can save sales tax on the item really adds a lot to the purchase I purchased most of my cleaning supplies here from my tide detergent. They also have good prices one on sale which is most of the time on soda 12-pack cans of Coke or Pepsi etc.”

“This is one of the boring and malls in San Diego, CA I need to bring back the cheap food court there they need to take out some of the high-end restaurants there. Keep outback steakhouse. The best thing in the mall is the AMC movie theater and Michael's there is a thrift store type of store I don't like the store because you have to pay with card no cash. They should bring a music & DJ store there in the mall that be awesome.”

“This place sure has changed since I was a kid. What happened to the Tomato store? McDonald's now has two lines for a drive-thru crazy! With all these businesses I'm surprised there's any parking spots but you can park across the street at the golf course if there are none. It's definitely a shopping center standing the test of time.”
