Vons Deli department is way too slow. Always only one person working serving hot food, cutting cheese and meat. That same person is incharge of the rotisserie chicken. There was 6 people in line waiting to get hot food so the 2 of us wanting deli meats were out of luck. I called a lady who was in the back chatting and she said I do bakery. I spoke to the supervisor who said yes we know sorry. Very strange response. She said the management also knows but nothing we can do. I don't understand why. Don't shop there if you want fresh meats and cheese.

Every time I go in this store late night it seems like I'm being followed around by the employees as if I'm going to shoplift. It's really weird and uncomfortable grocery shopping experience

I love coming to visit Vons in Bonita. They have the friendliest staff here. I am writing this review purely on the location, the deli staff, and the chicken Caesar salad.I love the chicken Caesar salad! I stop here about once a week to get it. The chicken is juicy and it has just enough dressing, love the real Parmesan cheese, They pick out the croutons for me and it makes a great low-carb lunch.

Horrible Service. The Lady asked me if I needed any help and asked her if they have the vons gift card. She said it's on aisle one. Mind you I'm already in line paying for my grocery. I told her that I couldn't find it and she kept it's should be there. I told her that before paying for the my groceries I already looked for it and couldn't find it. But guess what she kept saying it's one aisle one. Looked, I don't understand why you need to asked the customers if your not really help them. Horrible service. This is my first and last time I'm going to this vons.

Have been to this VONs a few times, especially upon getting some.good coupons in my account. For awhile during the holidays, the liquor sales were one of the best around and we stocked up. The parking lot is a bit small for this location and gets crowded easily. Upon walking into Vons, it is a compact yet clean location. To the right is liquor and fruit and vegetables with the a small floral department. This location is quite busy and smaller co.pared to other locations, but friendly. The downfall is it is not upgraded, in the sense that the liquor cabinets are locked up but there is no button to press for assistance or typically any associate around, which means that we are having to go up and down isles to look for an associate or ask someone at the registers, which we have learned to do at the beginning of our shopping experience as it can take quite awhile to have an associate come over. The liquor is taken to the front where it sits until you inform the cashier about the liquor. Otherwise the staff is friendly and we've had issues utilizing the online app and getting coupons to be used electronically.

Not only is the pandemic depressing...BUT so is this Vons!!! No employee is smiling or helpful or willing too help. This Vons needs a serious happy makeover. In a long time I have never Been so disappointed on customer service.

I was very impressed with this business establishment. From the very moment I walked in, my family was greeted with a smile and a genuine hello. The employees here were so kind and friendly. You can tell that there are good people who work here. They take pride in their jobs and serving customers. I have been here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. That really says a lot about this business and their employees. I will be back to patronize this business and would recommend it to anyone in the area. A+ service all the way. Five . Highly recommended in my opinion!

Why am I reviewing another big box grocery store? I'm not quite sure either since they're supposed to be equipped with reliable goods, right? Sadly, not this place. This place is so behind the times and it needs major optimizing for growth potential. First of all, I'm surprised that despite being in a rich area smack dab in the middle of a busy center--golf course, jogging trail, cemetery, sprawling neighborhoods, etc.--there aren't any self check out stands? The organics section is pathetic. The floral department is always overwhelming. The Starbucks service sucks (read other reviews). Their approach to managing Covid lines was a s*** show. The selection of brand name goods and diversity of choices overall sucks. Where do people find what they want? Is this demographic really all about non-organic processed junk? Do people just go to Albertsons in Spring Valley? Or is it Sprouts in Eastlake? I really don't want to travel too far out but it makes sense if this Vons can't afford to modernize and expand its business. Get it together! I'd like to be a regular since you're so close to where I live.

The girl at starbucks is not good at customer service, I was there this morning, she seems unhappy, why is she there working? Managers are responsible for this.

Worse customer service ever ! I went in to get some drinks for my family at the Starbucks inside vons and the girl at the register was extremely rude !! The girl was making faces as I was telling her my order and then proceeds to make my drink wrong. I asked for my drink with light ice and she added extra ice purposely. She even wrote light ice on my cup and proceeded to fill it with as much ice as she could. Terrible just terrible.

So I just left this vons w my 2 younger brothers (tall young Black men). We came in to grab a quick cake and head out. Upon us standing in line while I was out of view a cashier randomly asked my brothers if they were in line to which they replied Yes, she asked again and asked if they were sure (???) as if that's not something that is clear. As the only Black ppl in the store/line at this time it's not hard to understand what was happening here. No other patrons were asked the same question. When I prompted her as to why she asked such a question she said she hadn't seen us in line, even though we were right in front of her queuing up to the register, no apology no nothing. Disappointed yet not surprised. Will be calling to speak with a manager.
