Boron Aerospace Museum is a small, unique destination that offers free admission and is filled with a variety of flight memorabilia, aircraft parts, and fascinating artifacts. Visitors can find numerous pictures, plane models, and even a fighter cockpit section perfect for photos. Although the museum is small, it is packed with history and technology, showcasing items like old airplane engines and flight simulators. The museum operates with limited hours, often depending on the availability of volunteers. It is recommended to call ahead as there have been instances of sporadic opening times due to ongoing repairs. Despite these challenges, the museum is well-loved by visitors, many of whom appreciate the knowledge and passion of the staff. Guests are encouraged to leave donations to help the museum continue its work and to support its small gift shop. Future events, such as a 70th retrospective on the B-52 BUFFs planned for 2025, hint at the museum's commitment to growth and community engagement. Overall, Boron Aerospace Museum deserves more visits, as it provides a rich experience for aviation enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
Small place, free admission. Lots of pictures and some artifacts. I liked the very old airplane engines. Would like to see more info with most of the items. The lady said that covid almost killed the museum, so do stop.
There is a restroom indoors. Small gift shop.
