A very nice gift shop and catus garden. A great stop in Borrego Springs to find out the history of Anza Borrego State Park and local native Americans.

This place is a great resource for visitors. We used their website to plan our visit and dropped in the shop before our bike ride. They gave update on recent changes and advised us on where to buy produce and fruit. We even called them from the trail with questions and they answered them!

A wonderful shop with some of the finest books and documentation on the region (and fun gifts!); everything from geological surveys, to native peoples studies, to guide books, photo books, maps, charts, you name it. It's a regional gold mine for those who love the history of the area (Anza Borrego to the Salton Sea). A must stop for anyone passing through. Also, they have scores of interesting classes and talks for members and public alike, and the people that work there are NEVER RUDE in ANY WAY...the ladies I often talk to are always very knowledgeable and courteous.

Be sure you stop in and shop this delightful store when visiting Borrego Springs! I did so around the end of March 2022 and found several great treasures to take home from a lovely assortment of souvenirs. The gals who were working in the store were so friendly and helpful. Particularly Kathy, and I believe MaryAnn, who went out of their way to track down a vintage Desert News magazine issue that I was interested in, packaged it up and sent it to me recently, after I left my information with them. Fantastic customer service, not always found lately. Five stars!! Thank you again, ladies. I’ll be back anytime I’m in Borrego Springs. ?

What a charming gift shop after the Christmas Circle. Did not check the reviews prior to coming here. Across the tacos restaurant, saw this yellow painted shop and decided to check it out. Masks and sanitizing ur hand are pre-requisite prior to shopping. Kathy was so helpful and I cannot believe how affordable the prices are! So many unique gifts to bring home. The paper bag as well was beautifully decorated. Highly recommended to check out and buy souvenirs when in borrego springs

Nice and shady place to learn a bit more on desert lives.

First impressions.- wash your hands upon entering (big supporter but wished they had a bigger sign and I would happily obliged on my own)- how may I help you? Requested a patch for my spouse. But this is where it gets weird, she picked up the patch and walked the patch to the counter herself. The lady didn’t even bother asking if I was done shopping. I had to interrupt her and ask for magnets.- Upon paying, she said no credit card use and had to pay cash due to $5 minimum. At that moment, I only envisioned this lady hand carrying all my items if I chose to purchase something else. To my point, there was another nice lady shopping on her own without the store lady micromanaging her purchases. But cash which is a big germ spreader is the smartest move during COVID times.Poor taste in customer service experience. Will never shop here again.
