Clothing Stores in Borrego Springs, CA

“What an awesome and well-stocked store in the middle of the vast Anza-Borrego desert! My friend and I were staying in Borrego Springs as part of our road trip last week (I know, we chose a rather warm time to visit) - and had breakfast at Kendall's nearby. After a yummy breakfast, we looked around the mall and came across Borrego Outfitters. They really have a huge selection of a little bit of everything here - a great outdoors section (which fits considering all the hiking trails at Anza-Borrego), a large selection of Dakine branded goods, kitchen stuff, and tons of souvenirs. I actually managed to pick up two metal ornaments - a Jeep for a sibling that are into those, and a scorpion for myself with the "Borrego Springs" name painted onto it. They also have some really nice chocolates including some from Seattle Chocolate (one of my favorite brands) - but I opted against it since I figured it would melt by the time we walked the few steps to our car. Clerk was friendly and efficient. Asked if I was part of their rewards program, but honestly, I don't know when I'll be back out here again. Great stop nonetheless! I've been finding this town has some real gems when it comes to cafes, diners, markets and shops.”
