Always friendly folks at Ironwoods. They have a well stocked store and the only RV dump around that I know of.

Best option for renting a SxS in Ocotillo Wells. Its a bit pricey for the rental but much cheaper than owning if you don't go often.

What an exhilarating adventure! The service is great! I had a flat tire, these guys arrived promptly and replaced it in just 20 minutes. My only suggestion would be to plan your route in advance. The personnel were pleasant, cheerful, and delightful to deal with! There were plenty of rentals available

The side-by-side was nice enough, but the communication by Ironwoods not good enough regarding damage. I took my family out, nothing crazy, as I had kids with me. When I took it back and asked if all was good, I was told yes. However, a few weeks later I get an email saying they have taken $400 from my deposit for a damaged suspension rod. Firstly, I stuck to the tracks, and didn't hit anything that could do the damage that I remember, so find it odd that the Polaris would get this damage. Secondly, this wasn't looked at when I was there, so I was not able to see any damage first hand. Thirdly, there was no contact in the immediate days after that there had been damage, nor any photos sent to show the damage. All I had was an email stating the part value and the labor cost. So the day went from costing $600, to being $1000. I won't be returning, as that is too costly to risk.

Small motel, trailer park, convenience store and dump site. They also rent side by sides. The dump site, $20 and usually someone to help you. Nice and quick!

BEST PLACE TO RENT UTV’s! This UTV got destroyed and instead of being on the hook to replace it like other companies down the road ($30,000+), For $15 you can buy insurance that makes it so even in the case of total devastation you are only out $1500.That’s a big deal, and something you should care about (unless you drive like a sissy)We will definitely be coming back because the service was awesome ? and the whole renting process was a breeze. Loved this place it was a total win!

WARNING! Do not do tight turns or donuts in these rentals. They will easily tip over and the cost of repairs will be thousands of dollars. My friends and I rented a RZR for a full-day and it rolled over within 15 minutes. We had to wait about 45 minutes to be rescued and we lost the ability to use the vehicle the rest of the day; we were also not eligible for a pro-rated refund for the unused time (e.g. they would not let us pay for a half day rental instead of a full day rental). When your RZR rolls over, be sure to keep it rolled over and wait to be rescued. DO NOT FLIP THE RZR BACK OVER BY YOURSELF - this will void the insurance causing you to be liable for the entire repair and not just the deductible. When you rent the RZR, be sure to pay the extra $15 for additional insurance. This will cap your out-of-pocket cost for damages to $1,500 instead of $3,000. If you roll the RZR back onto its wheels by yourself after a tip-over, then you may need to pay more than $3,000 for repairs.Always be sure to keep your arms inside the RZR at all times. When the RZR rolls over your instincts will be to put your arms outside the window to "catch" yourself from falling. If you do this, your arm will break or shatter. If anyone is injured after an accident or rollover, call 911 to ask for assistance. We found out the hard way that your medical insurance will cover you if you are rescued on scene, but will not cover you if you drive away from the accident and ask for medical attention later. You can still have lots of fun with the RZRs, but just need to know how to navigate the registration process and understand the capabilities of the vehicle.

The 1000cc Polaris RZR, 4 seater - is not tuned for Ocotillo Wells. It's a glamorize golf cart. It bucks like a rodeo bull when you go over whoops. If you are going on sand dunes, it's probably fine.

We’ve been visiting Desert Ironwoods for years, before we bought our CanAm we rented Razors from them from time to time. We also like to go to the store for ice cream when we are camping in OW, the people are always very friendly and the owner is super nice. Our favorite Halloween event is going to the Desert Ironwoods Halloween party, we’ve been going for many years now and this year it was a Halloween carnival with games and food! My kiddo was so thrilled, it was the highlight of her Halloween. Excellent job this year! Not to mention the trick or treating at the campers, it’s a blast every year!Highly recommend for family fun!

Rented a RZR 4 seater on Friday. Easy to make reservations on-line, supposedly there is a waiver to complete too online but we did it in person. Super friendly, great with our son, and gave us some areas to check out. Great price for 1/2 a day. Bring water, phone with music to connect to RZR, snacks, and wear pants with sneakers. If you aren't wearing long sleeves, wear sunscreen. Definitely recommend for a 1/2 day.

Travis and Pam were both great to deal with. Very good at explaining things if needed. And seemed flexible when we thought about rescheduling. All their Razr's seemed brand new. Our had 280 miles on it. They're are fast and fun and can do pretty much anything. The back seats aren't that big and would be tough for two six foot guys to be in all day. Suggestions: bring a cooler with straps. We got the full day and used 75% of it. 1/2 day is too short, full day too long IMO. The Razrs are safe and fun. We didn't get into any areas we weren't comfortable with and didn't flip. There's plenty of fun without being stupid.
