Seriously, this is a destination golf course that I have played many times, the fairways are torched , lift clean and place in March. Golfers continue to pay $169 for garbage. It's getting so frustrating. We were here 2 years ago with the same problems and they said they were fixing it! The greens were great and service was decent , but again $169 and no beverage cart. I play a lot of golf and I'd rather play a local muni than this for the price. It's used to be rated just behind Pebble and Spyglass, which I played on a bucket list trip....not even close. Save your money until this place is fixed

Had an awesome time golfing here. Heard about the course for a few years and finally decided to make the reservation. Getting there isn't the easiest, but well worth it. The course just got new greens put in last summer so they were hard and fast. Fairways are pretty wide and fairly forgiving on missed drives, but the greens are very challenging with lots of slopes. The golf course was really fun to play, staff was welcoming and very friendly, and can't forget the free tacos on hole 10 and 14. The course is going under renovation from April to October to replace all the fairway grass, but once it's complete I will have to plan another trip out here.

A wonderful time. I took my wife and daughter to see the wildflowers. Afterwards, we went to the Ram's Hill CC for a late breakfast. The service was great (thank you again, Isabel) and the food was first-rate. Thank you , Ram's Hill CC! It was truly and wonderful time.

Played the last two days and had to share a review after reading a couple of the recent, negative reviews from some hackers….the layout of this course is fantastic. Are the greens firm? Yes, it’s dormant bemuda grass running at 11 stimp. If you can’t hit the ball high with some spin you are going to have difficulty but far from unfair if you hit a genuinely quality shot. There are lots of swales in most greens to help feed the ball to the hole if you pay attention. This course demands strategy and a well thought-out shot, played from the right angles. The fairways are very generous to allow for this as well. There are some bare patches on a few of the fairways but it’s just a couple that really come into play and mostly they are lush and great the hit from. Green surrounds are immaculate.Where can you hit pro v1 balls on the driving range!? This place is a hidden gem perhaps in need of some light polishing to be exceptional! Staff were great and very friendly as well!

Good track! Drove from Palm Springs (hour and 15 minutes) but worth it!

What a shame. Last year this course was hugely enjoyable. The new greens are like concrete. A high well hit 8 iron hits the front of the green and sends the ball 50 ft past the hole leaving a crazy mickey mouse putt over an elephant buried in the middle. False fronts don't allow you to run the ball up. There's no way to play the course. The fairways were in awful shape and they took one of my favorite tracks and turned it into a terrible course. Let's hope they turn this place around because it's not easy to get to and at this point there's no reason to make the effort!

Do NOT come here under any circumstance. The golf course is in awful shape, the greens are as firm as interstate 8 and fairways have lots of dead patches. The stay and play houses are nice but once you get out on golf course you will hate it and wish you just went to Palm Springs. The restaurant does not make ANY sense. Different menus for different sections even though food comes from the same kitchen. They are literally losing money. One of the worst managed restaurants I have ever been too and service is SOOOOOO slow.I’ve been all of the country playing golf and this is the worst experience I have EVER had. Do NOT come.Take advantage of the surveys and let them know your experience, tear them apart.

Played here with a friend yesterday. It was my first time playing the course. First off, the course layout, views, etc. are spectacular. You can see why it's a top 100 rated public course. Service was friendly and welcoming. As mentioned by another reviewer, the course could use some TLC. That being said, if you golf and you find yourself in Borrego Springs you should definitely play here
