Won't deliver to homes 5 miles away from the post office. Then sends the package back to the sender knowing full well the person has a PO box. Borrego has many elderly citizens. Families often try to send needed items through Amazon and the post office drops the ball every time.

Many thanks to Maria who worked hard to help me locate a very important package this weekend. I know she and her colleagues were swamped Saturday. Line-ups were long.
I can't help but be concerned that good caring staff may be lost unless more help is found or better systems put in place. I hope the current staff get the help they deserve and need to offer the expected service. Thank you again Maria for going the extra mile for me. Sincerely appreciated!!

Package was delivered on Tuesday to PO went on Friday, they were too busy to find it-the worst service , was told to go back the following week, what a shame this office is

Please note they currently close from 1245p-130p for lunch. (winter season 2023)Very friendly and efficient (but minimal) staff. I only use it to ship packages and buy stamps.

So apparently you can make an appointment to get a Passport, and get a confirmation. Then when you arrive and stand in line forever, they'll tell you that they're short staff and they can't do it. But she did say that she sent an E-Mail, somewhere. So, I guess it's okay then.

I've visited here a couple of times a week since moving here 1yr ago. Most locals need PO Boxes - no USPS delivery to most street address. Employees are helpful. I only wish area where packages can be mailed/picked up from would be open 1-2 hours later on weekdays and weekends. By the time I can get there they're closing in 5-10min and there are usually other people there in line with me.

Karen works hard. She makes a strong effort to take care of customers. It's almost unfair how much she has to carry on her shoulders. Other than Karen, I don't anything good to say about this place.

Yes, the employees are very nice, and are overwhelmed, but service provided at this facility is extremely poor, and I have dealt with many POs in my lifetime as I always live in rural areas and have a PO Box. The USPS desperately needs to provide more help!
