“I attended a few retreats at Vajrapani.
It takes some work to get there, it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of a vacation hotel, spa, or super modern retreat center catering to more wealth. So, for me, it takes some adjustment.
That being said, as a spiritual place, with enough to provide support for real spiritual progress, this place has everything you may need. It's got good teachers, excellent staff, wonderful support, caring people, kind and meaningful experiences. It's got powerful and inspiring buildings and objects.
It's really in the woods, so it is a very good place to disconnect and focus on yourself. It also has great programs for deepening meditation and well-being, and I am looking forward to attending as regularly as I can.
Also, the food is so good, it has inspired me to improve my cooking at home. Very nutritious.
Also, lastly, it is easy to make friends here, in a very short period of time. The people here are so nice and by the end of every retreat, there is genuine friendliness from everyone.”
