My cut was not as I requested. I wish the stylist would listen to what I’m asking for and not do as they please. Also, bring cash! My stylist did not take card and asked me to pull cash from their ATM machine which did not work after several tries. I ended up having to go to a local bank to get cash.

Alexanders is a "great" salon, if you're looking to have your scalp chemically burned, spend $400 for an uneven color job, and have the "master colorist" there order you around at your hair appointment to sweep up your own hair and do her salon chores. Expect to be quoted one price for a color then find out 2 hours in that they want an extra $100 or more.
This is all par for the course at Alexanders in Brea.
We have an extremely special event to go to today amd even talked to the owner and his wife trying to tell them what happened and couldn't even get a call back regarding this disaster so now on the day of we are going to risk it at Sally's buying our own supplies because this salon already cost me $100 over our budget ($350+$100=$450 including all our expenses here for this) for the coloring and my gf and my hair are both still disasterpieces, not masterpieces, or anything remotely remotely acceptable. Leticia was our hair stylist and colorist and she had no problem breaking every rule in the book to give me purple hair and my gf some un even roots. I was dumb enough at first to believe that my.gd was the one being difficult until 24 hours pass and her hair is so blatantly uneven and not uniform or blonde enough. She didn't even b ok ther conditioning her hair professionally at the end , but applied shampoo and conditioner and scrubbed thr hair before the colorr which we had tobeg her not to, to no avail. Everyone knows his is a huge no no and you don't want to do this before a color for 2 days leading up. Not them.

When I go to Alexander's, I go to Stev for premium hair care. He's excellent at doing what's best for it, teaching you how to maintain a style and has creative alternate ideas for style if it's something you're thinking about. Great communication and good guy

Jamie (Instagram jmedoeshair) is the best at what she does. Color, cut, specialized services, you name it she can bang it out. I got a keratin treatment and I am forever hooked. Her cuts and color have never disappointed me. I always leave happy :).

Nia did such a great job!! She was able to see me last minute, which I was very grateful for. She did my makeup and hair for a wedding I was going to. Everything came out perfect!It had been hot, humid and slightly sprinkling that day, so as soon as I stepped out of the salon my hair went flat. My makeup was beautiful all night, but I had to recurl my hair halfway through the night. Super sad about that, but overall beautiful work!! Thank you Nia!Services: Makeup services

Marinda is the BEST! I met Marinda in a professional setting and we quickly became good friends. She is so sweet, kind, and extremely down to earth. I knew immediately when I found out that she was a hairdresser that I wanted to be her client. You can truly tell she cares about what she does. When I recently went in for a cut after growing out my hair after losing it all to chemotherapy she suggested that I don't cut it too much so that I can style it on my own. I've never been able to curl my hair before because I didn't know how and she taught me right there on the spot how to curl my own hair. This reminded me of a quote: "If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day. If you teach a man to fish, you feed him for a lifetime." I'm now able to curl my hair on my own and restore my confidence that I lost due to my prior cancer diagnosis. Thank you Marinda! Looking forward to my next visit!

Terrible, the girl who cut my hair doesn’t know what she’s doing. I gave her the benefit of the doubt but upon styling my hair next few days I found it was severely uneven. She kept cutting for no reason and it’s all f’ed up now.
