Came from Pasadena. I was really excited by the high ratings. The gallery was closed for installation. There should be away to mark the Yelp page. Wasted 45m to kiss the door :(

Cute little gallery right by the mall. I live 20min away and have been going to the Brea Mall for years! Had no idea this place existed until recently. Admission is $3 for adults. Free for Brea residents. It's spacious and clean. Current exhibit, pure unadulterated fun, displays a lot of art inspired by the 90s and the Lisa Frank era. There is a spotify playlist that goes with it too. Fun way to spend an hour.

Their show openings and gallery receptions are usually well attended and always worth the time spent. Being directed find a young woman doing and excellent job curating pieces and generally making sure the flow of the evening is flawless. I highly recommend.

Heather curates bold and beautiful exhibits. Not your standard city gallery! This one is special and supports local artists and outstanding work!

Professionally staffed and managed located in Civic Center across from the Curtis theatre and next to the Brea Police Department. Despite warnings no headless horseman here at the time of this review.During my visit music was playing as I walked in. Viewed artwork, talked to the artist (who was on-site) and photographed from floor/above. New exhibition is “Immersion.”Here all the lights were on, the floors shined and awards were given to artists. Brea Art Gallery left a "Je Ne Sais Quoi" aftertaste that had me dreaming of Dorothy of OZ. New exhibitions and unmasked patrons.

I didn't know there was such an impressive gallery in Brea. I enjoyed art with the children. It's a place I want to recommend to my friend.

The City of Brea Art Gallery is not too big. One can get through it in about an hour, taking your time to stroll through the exhibits and enjoy the offerings. Their exhibitions are unique and cover interesting topics, different from other galleries and so I like to go on-line to see what is currently being displayed. I recommend if you are in the area to stop in and visit this little slice of art heaven.

I'm a Brea native and have been to countless exhibits over the years and it's always a pleasure. - Great location. Parking in the underground lot and convenient to walk across for food or the mall. - Cheap -- free for Brea residents, otherwise $3. - Small exhibit -- if you take your time it takes around an hour to explore. I prefer this, as it's very manageable instead of overwhelming like the LA places that require multiple visits. The best thing is how frequently the exhibit rotates. MICA is my favorite because it's so diverse and not a single theme-medium (though those exhibits are also amazing!). It's also great how you can purchase the artwork.

Lots of great artwork! It's a small exhibit, but admission is pretty cheap. Only is $3, or $2 for students. Some great sculptures and interactive pieces.
