Vahideh was the person who did my alterations for my wedding dress. I had to add fabric, lace and my correct bra cup size to the dress because I am chesty. She did an amazing job with sewing and creating the dress for me. I thought I was going to have to buy a new dress but she did such a great job that I won't have too. Side note: My wedding dress I bought was not from David's Bridals and she had to use extra fabric from other dresses they had to create my dress. It looks amazing! Thank you so much!

Short review: The team here was great, the whole process of trying on dresses, picking one, waiting for it to get delivered (longest wait time), picking it up, getting fitted, alterations, to final dress was smooth with wonderful service throughout. A few things that stood out was that they never pushed for me to spend more than I wanted and were helpful even though my dress was on the "cheaper" end (some companies are only nice if you spend a lot!). I never felt like a bother, and they took care of all my concerns. Longer/Step-by-step review: Try on - I made an appointment online, and showed up on a Wednesday evening. It was pretty empty, and I got to try on 5 dresses picked out by one of the staff (I forgot her name) after I told her I wanted to try a little bit of everything. I didn't have a dream dress in mind, and she picked a good mix of different styles and fabrics. The third one made me feel like a bride, and even 2 dresses later I still kept going back to it. It fit my style, but was a little fancier since it's my wedding after all! Getting the dress - This took a bit, but wasn't the store's fault at all. They didn't have my size in stock, so I had to wait a few months for the dress to be made. It did arrive a week earlier than expected, which is what one of the stylists said could happen since it was a slower season (yay!) Alterations/Fitting - I knew the dress would be too long, and Jaclyn from alterations made me feel comfortable and taken care of. She offered lots of options of things we could do like taking in the sides, adding cups, etc. When I opted to just hem, she didn't push at all for me to do more. Final fitting - When I tried on the dress after the standard month's wait for alterations, the hem was a little uneven on the bottom. We pointed it out, and Andrew (alterations manager) and Shauna (store manager) didn't deny it, but quickly worked to find solutions. I was stressed because my wedding was in a week, but they got my dress fixed in literally 2 days!

I came here to try on wedding dresses for my upcoming wedding. I was approached by a staff named Jillian, she said I could try on dresses but I would not be assisted with any of the dresses due to not having an appt. I understood and had no issues. I confirmed it was still okay for me to look at dresses and try them on. She confirmed only in fitting rooms 1-3. I said thank you despite how rude and abrasive she was. After pulling 3 dresses to try on she returned to me with a gentleman to tell me I could not try on dresses had to schedule an appt and had to leave. I have never in my life been treated the way I have by this person. I understand policies if they have policies in place. If they would have said that I needed an appt to try on dresses at bat, I would have simply made an appt. Her having to come back with someone else as if myself or anyone I was with did anything wrong to as absolutely uncalled for. Then to tell me I had to leave and could not continue to look at dresses without an appt and was absolutely insane. As I asked to speak to the manager another customer approached me and said this same employee was VERY VERY rude to her as well! I am an awww of how something so special can turn out so bad due to someone's lack of understanding of their employers policy's or simply lack of customer service! Nothing was done to resolve this, not an apology or even asking me if I wanted to schedule another appt. The 2 ladies upfront were the only ones that apologized on David's Bridal Behalf.

I had the worse experience here and I would NEVER recommend this place. Saturday March 9th about 4pm my daughter in law and myself walked into the store Debbie was at the front desk and I asked if I could try on some dresses. I said I know I don't have an appointment but was wondering if somene was available to help me. I came in from out of town and I was ony there for the day. Debbie was very adamant that there was no availability. I asked her to check again and she no I'm sorry but there is no availability. Tiffany the manager walked up and I asked her if she was able to get me in and she said of course. I found 3 dresses that I liked and asked her to put them in my profile I would be back next weekend with my daughters to try them on. I went home and made an apppintment for Saturday March 16th at 10:30am. I arrived at my appointment and Eva and Debbie were at the front desk. Eva could not find my appointment I showed her my confirmation in my email and she said she was sorry she didn't see it. "I said I really don't care what your computer says I have an email confirmation so please find someone to help me or get the manager. Debbie rolled her eyes and walked away. Tiffany the manager came up and she apologized and said she would find someone to help me. They took us to the back and the place was packed. I was still patiently waiting standing around waiting for someone to help me finally someone came over and said she was with another bride and she would pull my dresses for me. I said I don't need anyone to help me just give me a room and the dresses my daughter can help me. I just want to try them on and show my daughters. I waited 30 minutes Tiffany comes over and said they only found one of the dresses, the other one she couldn't find and the 3rd one another bride was trying it on. She asked me if could wait. I said I'm sorry I'm leaving I've been waiting 30 minutes. I had an apppontment and you can't find the dresses. This is not the experience I was looking for, your customer service is horrible. The placed was packed in like sardines. I did find my dress that day and it wasn't at David's Bridal.

Absolutely crazy!! Not sure what is going on here - my cousin (mother of the bride) was able to make an appointment with her phone number and email , but the manager is saying you cannot make an appointment without the brides email ??? Literally already had an appointment there last week , but will not let me make another one . So note to everyone - have an email ready ? Or just don't go here because the customer service was pretty terrible . From the manager !! Made no sense at all... almost like they made a mistake and are trying to cover it up now and make it sound like it was our fault . We will be making our appointment somewhere else ..

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! David's Bridal wedding gown bought online was wrinkled and needed to be steamed. When I called on 3/11/24, employee at Brea location said to bring gown in for a complimentary steaming. Drove 40 miles to have the manager tell me that steaming in not complimenary and the cost is $100. The manager and all the employees, including the one that gave me the wrong information were rude, unapologetic and unprofessional. I literally drove 80 miles for nothing! Train your employees! And train your manager to accept resposiblity when they are wrong!

Cassidy Lam was delight to work with. She is extremely sweet and helpful. She was eager to find something for me to try on. I loved her energy and will consider coming back for the final choice.

I *LOVED* my experience here with the people! Payton was phenomenal at helping me find exactly what went so good together and made me look and feel like a bride! Honestly, it's a clear 5 stars for the kind, helpful, honest, and amazing people that helped me enjoy and love this moment from start to finish. I also really appreciate their affordable selection of styles- and indeed, I ended up finding the one!Now, with that in mind, the reason I knocked off a star is because of the store itself. The fitting rooms were pretty cramped, and it was awkward because the way the mirrors and chairs were set up made it so if two brides are trying on their dresses at the same time, they would be walking in front of each other's party or each of their parties wouldn't be able to comfortably sit to see the bride walk over to the larger mirror and they'd either have to stand, turn their bodies, or sit on the floor. Then, there was this incident where I had sent everyone the address that was listed in the email that the store sent out to me to confirm my appointment, but that address was actually their previous location that they had moved from in December. Everyone in my party ended up arriving late- and one of my friends actually ended up not getting there until the very end.Still, while the store was irritating, the overall experience was awesome!

Went in to try on dresses today and was not the experience I was expecting!I don’t remember the name of the young lady who was helping us but terrible . I showed her a few styles that I wanted and brought out complete opposite (wanted something simple and sleeve less) she brought out dramatic and with sleeves ?I was completely discouraged leaving the store . Told her the date of my wedding and kept giving ware house different date . We ended up going to Long Beach location and let me tell you experience there was TOP NOTCH! PLEASE STEP IT IP BREA!!!

Didn’t realize my first review was posted. This was my first ever wedding dress consult. I was super overwhelmed in this store. The front desk needs work. The communication was so poor, I checked in and was immediately told to choose dresses I like but not to remove them from the rack. With no other instructions, not a “your consultant will be with you shortly” just “choose what you like and don’t remove them” so I had to ask how were supposed to go about things, and then they told me “take photos of the tags and show your consultant.” I then had to ask if they come to me or what, because nobody was helpful. Eventually my consultant found me and got me in a fitting room and you can tell she was overwhelmed. But she was so kind, and considerate and tried so hard to take her time with me. The manager also stepped in and helped out with what she could. Despite them being so busy, the kindness of the consultant and the manager made up for it. The manager even gave me very helpful advice when I was on my way out the door as I had another appointment at a different store. I may not have said yes to a dress at this store, but the managers advice helped me say yes to my dream dress elsewhere.

Had the absolute worst and most stressful wedding dress experience. The in person service was good. I had it shipped to where I live. After the arrival date passed I started calling the shop trying to find my dress. After multiple phone calls over multiple days and they finally came up with a solution to ship my dress from another store. Why was this not the first option to begin with?! By the time they shipped my dress I am only 1 week away from my wedding. The dress has detachable sleeves and they are so poorly made they ripped right away. And to top it off the dress doesn’t even fit. So now a week away from my wedding I have to find a new dress. Horrible experience. Maybe if you live near them they would be better but I DO NOT recommend shipping any dresses from them. Not supportive and extremely stressful experience. I am so disappointed.

I did not think I would say yes to the dress today, but I did! I had a wonderful time with Kathy! She was very flexible and cheered me on with all of the choices I wanted to try on. I found a dress I thought I would never be able to get! I can’t wait until it arrives! Thank you David’s Bridal!
